Reviews on Bar food in Hood River, Oregon, United States. Hood River beckons travelers with the scent of orchard blooms and the promise of adventure on the rushing waters of the Columbia River. The winds through the Columbia River Gorge provide the perfect conditions for windsurfing and kite surfing, making the city a hotspot for those sports in recent years. The surrounding area is ripe with orchards growing cherries, apples, peaches and other sweets. Take the Mt. Hood Scenic Railroad through the orchard route and take in the views of Mt. Hood.

Divots does not disappoint! Cold beer after golf, ice water, smiling servers and a delicious lunch.I ordered the crab cakes, which were great, and my husband ordered the ahi poke. Both were just what we needed after a round of windy golf! Patio seating is always great, and the view of Mt. Hood is simply spectacular!

Stopped in with friends before heading out to wine taste.Wanted their chowder and a salad. Both were good sized portions. Plenty filling for a light bite. Chowder had all the right notes, clams, broth, tasty. Side salad was bigger than I expected. Fresh.Tried a tasting tray of beer and liked them. One of my fave ways to beer taste. Good variety. Place was busy.

I really enjoyed sitting at the new bar, you get to see more of the river view now. I had pasta for lunch, it was really good. Mariva was my bartender. She was great, very friendly and genuine. She made it a comfortable atmosphere to have lunch.

While staying overnight in Hood River recently, we wondered into the main downtown area looking for someplace to eat and decided on Trillium Cafe. I get the impression this place is probably has a fairly different vibe to it during the day versus the evening. The place was busy, with what appeared to be a mostly locals hanging out with a few out-of-towners in the mix. Our server/bartender was very friendly. I had the Charlie Chicken or was it Chicken Charlie sandwich at his recommendation. It was a nice combo of fresh chicken breast with pears, melty cheese, and baked garlic cloves. It was generous portion and was served with hot, crispy, perfectly seasoned tots. Drinks were ok and moderately priced. This is descent quality pub food and window into the local scene. All and all it hit the spot.

Lift a glass to the Pfriem family of artisinal beers--- rife with complexity and elegance, influenced by the great brewers of Belgium, but unmistakably true to their homegrown roots in the Great Pacific Northwest. PFriem is located along the Hood River Wa
After tasting over 900 different beers around the world (my son owns a brewery), I can attest that pFriem has a consistent record of great brewing and great recipes. Multiple style choices on tap that were good from top to bottom. Worth visiting just for the beer.

We were taken here by friends - probably would not have found it on our own, and enjoyed the meal. The BLT sandwiches were very good, the place was clean and quiet, not too crowded. I'd return again.

On a Friday evening, the place was packed with locals and people visiting. Very good and friendly atmosphere. Interesting selection of beers and ciders. I opted for a "Hop Lion" with a small version of Buffy pizza which was already big enough ! The pizza was tasty with a thin crust.I recommend the place for its atmosphere and its choice of drinks and food.

Hood River's only waterfront restaurant is known for some of the best food in the Gorge, plus amazing Columbia River views from just about every table. Enjoy it all indoors in Riverside's recently remodeled dining room or on the expansive dining deck. Men
My best friend Gail and I were there for a long girly weekend. The Riverside far surpassed our expectations. Service, Food, atmosphere were all spot on. Happy Hour was a delight, and the selections were plentiful. The salads were large and the dinners were exceptional. I had the Wedge and Steak and seasonal veg, all off the Happy Hour Menu. Outstanding. Fresh, tender meat, veggies cooked to perfection. But breakfast was off the charts. Poached pear, maple pecan French toast that was not too sweet and melted in your mouth. The Short Rib Hash was just delicious and had a lot of very tender pieces of meat cooked just right. Onions, peppers, and potatoes were also delicious. The coffee was wonderful and the Pumpkin Spice Mule drink I had was a favorite. The views of the Gorge spectacular. Highly recommend this place. Will definitely be going back. And bonus. Wood fired & Gorge-inspired! Featuring an imported Italian wood fire oven, the cafe specializes in rustic, inventive and award-winning pizzas! We also serve seasonal chef's entrees & fresh, local cuisine made from scratch. We serve culinary-inspired cockt
Weâve been a fan of this place before it moved across the river because they used wonderful local fruits and vegetables in a wide array of cooking styles. This hasnât changed at all. We started the meal with their hand cut truffle fries then moved on to an heirloom tomato peaches toast with a unique goat cheese and herb spread. We then ate one of their pizzas, Cremini Mushroom and goat cheese with a sprinkling of mozzarella pizza. It was loaded with mushrooms but I just didnât think the crust was terrific. It needed to remain a wee bit longer in the brick oven. And perhaps a bit more mozzarella. My only other complaint and this is a problem with many Hood River restaurants, they are not air conditioned. On a stifling hot minimal breeze evening like last night sitting on their outside eating area was miserable. But eating indoors probably as bad. And when we left after 9 pm the place was still packed!
