It's got an excellent location and naturally is busy on a sunny Saturday. We wanted coffee and were told there would be a wait but thought 20 minutes excessive. The problem seems to be that they have a small barista machine that cannot keep up with the demand. Using cafetiere would be a possible answer. We thank you for your feedback. On the date you visited, we thought it would only be polite to advise of a delay on coffee service, due to the demand we were experiencing. Our aim is to deliver a high calibre of customer service to all guests .We take on board your feedback and hope to improve in certain areas.Kind regards

The Huntsman is always good, the menus are varied something for everyone, I have never been disappointed.. Portions are generous always freshly cooked and served nice and hot.Nice to eat in the restaurant which is a bit more special, large room so suitable for quite large parties. Nice to have linen napkins instead of flimsy paper ones, all makes a difference.Thank you Margaret for this lovely review, it fills me with such pride when I read reviews like this one especially knowing how hard we work as a team to ensure all those little differences happen and its great to receive recognition. We will hopefully see you again soon.

Lou & Joe's is an institution for outstanding burgers and good vibes. Locally sourced and crafted with love. Based in Holmfirth, West Yorkshire.
Great burger - probably the best Iâve ever had - and truly amazing Vietnamese chips! Everyone should try the Vietnamese chips they serve up here! Delicious meal and I can only regret I never got the chance to sample a dessert as the group I was with were keen to get down to the snug basement bar for live music from local band Diamond and the Rays (formerly the Hard Parsnips). The first round of drinks took a while to appear and we had to correct the bill at the end but overall it was an excellent experience.Hi,Thank you so much for leaving such a great review. We are over the moon that you enjoyed the full experience here at Lou & Joe's. Maybe on your next visit you will hopefully manage to squeeze in a desert!See you again soon!Lou & Joe

We ate before a gig at the Picturehouse. The place was very busy and we had about 30 min wait for food. but we all loved what we had ordered - mine a lovely lasagne (home made and excellent, others had the filled Yorkshire puds and burgers. all good portions and nicely presented. For those who like good Yorkshire food presented in a rustic way on scrubbed tables. But much tastier than fine dining!

A taste of little taste of Spain in west Yorkshire. The latest venture of Rick & Wayne from the Mustard & Punch Group, Punch Bar & Tapas has been 3 years in the making but we promise Honley's newest restaurant and bar was well worth the wait. Come and exp

A trendy bar/kitchen serving a variety of lagers, wines, cocktails & champagnes. Delicious fresh food including tapas, steaks, burgers, pizzas & kebabs served all day.
Booked for a birthday meal, the booking was really easy and followed up by an email requesting a pre order. On arrival the staff were very pleasant and the table had been decorated which was lovely. The food was delicious and the portion sizes were generous. Our waitress Neave was great, very efficient and friendly even providing a free birthday glass of prosecco! No complaints and will certainly return! Thank you very much for your kind words,I will make sure to pass on the comments to Neave, and the rest of the team. Many thanks

Hiking from Marsden to Jackson Bridge, this was the only pub on the trail, so I was very grateful to reach it in the afternoon. It's an attractive old country inn, well-panelled with wood and quite spacious. It's not cheap--lager was £5.00 a pint.; but I was so thirsty I'd've paid a hundred. The barmaid was erudite and quite amusing. The gastro aspirations of the Fleece were undermined by the fact it stank strongly of bacon.

Beautiful country pub, with fantastic home cooked food. An ever changing specials board and dessert menu. Log fire and a warm welcome, pets welcome.
Had to park on busy main road but received warm welcome and good fire in the bar area. Plenty of choice on the specials board and lunch 2 and 3 course deals. My wife enjoyed her fish pie and the Barnsley lamb chop was good. The service was prompt and the bill for 6 people was reasonable.Hello, sorry about the parking, its such a shame the pub doesn't have a carpark.Glad you enjoyed the food, hope to see you again. x
