54th Street was founded in Kansas City, MO by Thomas E. Norsworthy in 1989. He envisioned a place that would accommodate a consistently crowded dining room as well as a lively bar crowd, while offering the quality food and drinks that exceed national chai
Greeted and seated quickly but we sat at the table for fifteen minutes and no one ever even came by the table to take our order. The place was NOT crowded - maybe six other tables were occupied. Heard from our son later that they have a reputation for bad service because the staff doesn't care about their jobs.I would love the chance to speak with you in person if you would like to go on line to our website or call her at the store myself or a member of management team will be in contact with you. Thank you for your feedback and we look forward to hearing from you Ryan McNabb

The place has been reduced to nothing more than a cafeteria(with matching food) with a bar of dubious integrity I might add. 4 for dinner. Pizza, sucked. Fish sandwich, fish not bad but way too small. verdict, sucked. Can't even recall what the other 2 were but they were nothing to write home about. THEN, we ordered a few beers. Mich Ultra to be exact. Now Mich Ultra is very much and American/domestic beer, but don't be fooled, at Gettemeiers, its considered a premium thus commanding a higher happy hour price...which we didnt know because there was no beer list or happy hour drink lists. So I asked for the manager and "Jerry" stops in and tells us that its not considered a domestic beer. We said it would be nice to have one of those aforementioned lists. He says smugly, "If I had to, I could make a list." Well, guess what Jerr, don't bother cuz we won't be back and neither will 100's of our friends and readers of trip advisor.
Arriving at our LaQuinta a short block away made this an easy choice for dinner. A classic sports bar it was busy thus noisy, people playing pool, darts-just having a good time. Chicken strips were ok, but an excellent nacho platter. Not for a beer connoisseur, but a decent glass of wine. Inexpensive.
In 14 minutes, you have thr crispest wings you will ever eat. No slimy, rubbery, over-sauced wings here. The sauces are awesome. My fav? Lemon pepper, chili lime and garlic parm. Yummo!

Irma Jean's Neighborhood Restaurant & Sports Bar is exactly that--a typical, average neighborhood restaurant and sports bar. Formerly Deaver's, it is now under new ownership and management. The menu is extensive with offerings of bar-type food and full meals. We were a little disappointed with the nachos we ordered, and some of the other appetizers we shared were less than outstanding. I'm going to give them a pass though, because they are still tweaking the menu items and getting established. Servings are large and those in our group who ordered full meals were very satisfied. Also on the plus side is their ability to seat a large group of us (14) without any problem. We were even able to get separate checks. There is a separate party room for big groups.

Recently moved back home to St Louis to find this place up to its normal tricks...good wings. They have several sauces to choose from, and allow you to mix without an upcharge. Their steak fries loaded with shredded cheese, bacon, salsa, ranch, and sour cream (totally not in the menu but they will accommodate you) are phenomenal! Service can be hectic. Sitting yourself in the crowd can be overwhelming. To go may take forever. But itâs all good.

Their food is their strength as brew pubs typically are much better at one than the other. I can always find a beer to drink but there is not one that brings me back.My wife usually gets the flatbread pizza and I the Cobb salad but Iâve not found anything I donât like there.
Best bar-style St. Louis pizza in the world.
This is an older quaint building with tons of Florissant History and the staff are very willing to review it. It is a smaller place but the beer is cold and the menu is large. Prices are very good and food is wonderful. Menu consists of items from fried zuchini to sandwiches to pizza. We had the pizza and it was great!

Cugino's is the place to be for great food and drinks at great prices!
Took the family here after a quick map search for nearby restaurants. Was very pleased. The microbrewery was very interesting. I don't understand the 10.5 oz beers, rather than pints, but nevertheless, the beer was good. Nice menu (non-pretentious, which I appreciate) with moderate prices. Service could have been slightly better. Kind of a weird set up. The waiter goes behind the bar to get his own drinks. Seems like they were understaffed. Waited quite a while for drinks without receiving any attention from staff. We'll give it another try. Food was great and beers were equally good.

At the suggestion of my BIL we went to this charming restaurant which he said was his Mom's favorite. His Mom has good taste. The four of us each ordered and different sandwich and each came well presented and very tasty. Our waitress was attentive and helpful. We will return again !
