My husband was never a fan of Applebee's, we were driving through town and trying to avoid eating fast food, big mistake. Admittedly it was lunch hour, it took 10 minutes to be seated. The greeter was so inefficient, it was painful to watch. The meal was not that great. You would think that at least the coffee should be fine, it was lukewarm. We had to send it back, the server did offer to warm it up in the microwave. By that time we don't even feel like a coffe anymore. Applebee's definitely will not be on our list of restaurants.

We haven't been to this Chili's in awhile and decided to stop in while out shopping. I have to commend the waitress that we had, she was very friendly and helpful but that doesn't make up for the food. I ordered a hamburger which is usually good but I was disappointed. I ordered a medium well burger and it came out really pink in the middle. She took it back to cook it longer since it was way too pink for me. What I got back was a charred burger that was tough. I was going to order the broccoli to go with my burger but they were out! When something like that is on the menu how can you run out of it?I ordered the fries which come with the burger and when they came out they were cold. I told the waitress and she took them back and brought me another batch but they were limp, I wondered if they just stuck them back in the fryer and fried the cold ones. Definitely limp and greasy so I didn't eat but 1.My husband ordered the ribs which he said was very good. Maybe it was an off night but I was definitely disappointed in my food.Again the waitress was very on top of things and she can't be faulted for the kitchen so I give her an A+.We will try Chili's again to see if this was a fluke this time.
Coop DeVille is a local favorite and award winning wing restaurant. We strive to make each customers experience a pleasant and enjoyable one. With over 40 wings flavors available, every diner is sure to find something to enjoy.
Our group of five stopped at Coop Deville on our way home from New Orleans. With ages from 11 to 65, it was a great place as everyone found something they liked. They offer SO MANY flavor wings (traditional & boneless)! The fries were spicy....and delicious! We had potato skins, chicken strips and wings. All were good! The waitress was very attentive. The place is small and cozy. Glad we stopped!

What was formerly Iron Horse has been completely redone as a upscale Italian Restaurant owned by Chanc Kinchen. A soft opening was held 3/4 and 3/5 to very positive reviews by people who attended. Apps and entrees where more based on northern italian than south and on the lighter side. Excellent homemade pastas in various savory sauces. Well composed caesar salad, burrata and a good meatball soup. Pork osso bucco, fresh gulf fish and an awesome little neck clams in a light red sauce, to name a few items. Outstanding wine selection and a comfortable bar area. Service was prompt and friendly/Who would have thought that Hammond would turn into such a culinary mecca?

Here is the problem. An ordinary hamburger should not cost over $12. But all these restaurants think by calling them gourmet or specialty burgers that they can charge these outrageous prices. Ground patti and buds broiler have better tasting burgers than all these little places downtown. Or in any other city. You see thatâs where the disappointment comes in. For $15 hamburger with drink you expect to be wowed. But instead itâs like eh! Itâs ok but not $15 great. I love hamburgers but you have to kick it up a notch for me to go and spend that kind of money over and over again. This goes for a lot of places not just yours

But the tuna cooked medium was a bit overdone as were the vegetables. The service is prompt and friendly. If you want a meal that's tasty served by a friendly staff, give Brady's a try.If you're looking for top shelf cuisine, try elsewhere.

We went with some local folks for Sunday lunch. Interesting decor, friendly staff, bbq was ok. Had the pulled pork, rib, & brisket platter. Brisket was a little on the salty side & pork was maybe a bit dry but ok. Did not eat the ribs as I was stuffed - huge portions! Salad was very fresh & good and their beans were outstanding!Btw, ribs were not wasted - they went home with our hosts.Overall, an ok spot

There is nothing wrong with average. We had the feeling it was our server's first week on the job and maybe the kitchen was not at its finest based on other reviews - but we did not regret coming. This is the kind of place you visit if you are walking down the street in downtown Hammond - but I would not make a special trip. The price was a little more than one would expect for this kind of service and food.
