Find out what Bar restaurants to try in Graz. A bevy of universities give Austria's second-largest city its lively pace. Baroque palaces are a pleasant contrast with 16th-century courtyards and provocative modern buildings. The Old Town, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, teems with fine architecture, including the Burg castle complex, with its Gothic double staircase, and the graceful Uhrturm clock tower. A funicular takes visitors up the dramatic bluff. The River Mur dashes through the city, and thermal springs dot the surrounding countryside.

If you love whiskey this should be your first choice. Must be more than 100 kinds including moonshine. The owner is a passionate bagpiper and knows everything about whiskey his own creation is the famous egglander ...you have to try it. Musik is nice and every Wednesday they have live karaoke. Great fun .

We ordered some burgers and some drinks. There was just 2 persons serving in the local, so everything came extremly late. But that was not the worse part. The worst part, was the surprise contained inside the burgers, really old salad. We figured It out, because the taste of the burger was somehow different that It should taste. We told the waitress about the old salad and we got no answer in return. So I don't think that i will come back.

We just checked this place out a couple of days ago. My husband and I were really looking forward to this as we know that the owners used to work at another restaurant in the area and we knew them from there. They are so friendly and they are also very dog friendly. Even my pup loved this place. The cuisine is fantastic. My husband had the beef tartare and very much enjoyed it. The beef was chopped finely and seasoned just right. I enjoyed a salmon and prawn red curry soup which I have to say was AMAZING. I loved it so much. The flavors were such a refreshing combination. I've never had a salmon curry before, but it really worked. For dessert we had a warm chocolate cake with lychee sorbet - also so incredibly delicious. We are definitely going to be coming back again. Thanks!

Stopped in for lunch with the family on the weekend after finding most restaurants to be full on a Saturday afternoon. The server was attentive but not overly friendly or cordial. The food was decent pub fare and came out promptly. The vibe is definitely classic, dark, Irish pub but nothing here really stood out as any better than any other "pub" we have experienced.

Come on guys. You have a greatly stylised place with all the possibilities in the world. Your own beer and all. But no, you still decided to serve me industry made kalbsbutterschnitzel with industry made potatoe purée. At least the onion sauce seemed to have something house made, or than it was just a good purchase... Please make yourself a proper restaurant. Service was friendly. Extra star due to that.Dear Lemmy75. Thanks for your recension of the 9th of July. We take every criticism very seriously and try to improve our quality. We are happy to forward your feedback to our service.Best regards, Philipp Hagmann and your thomawirt-team.

This place came recommended by a friend and it was super busy when we arrived. The place itself was okay. The burger was delicious, but the fries were a bit dull. We got a "meal-deal" that came with some wine. However - they set the bottle of wine down in front of us, and we were hopeful that we were allowed to refill our glasses (also because the pour was quite small). Turns out we were not allowed a second glass (unless we paid for it). We just thought it was a weird detail to put the bottle down for us, but not to have it be "on offer".

Artistically presented, delicious food and friendly staff made this an outstanding dining experience. We came upon dreizehn on our first night in Graz, it was a wonderful introduction to the city. We tried the 4 course Gauster's surprise tasting menu. The portions were very generous.
