Brimstone PNW Smokehouse. Located in downtown Gig Harbor; we have BBQ, we have PNW Tacos, we have Big Fluffy Donuts. Brimstone is cozy, great for large groups and family friendly. Happy hour offered restaurant wide during select hours. Over 21? Enjoy the
First time checking out Brimstone. Walked in at 6pm, waited in the small lobby for about 15 minutes before we were seated in the bar. Place was busy, and we waited 10 minutes before our drink and dinner order was taken. My wife and I ordered the Blackberry Lemonade, she also ordered the brisket taco with beans and coleslaw. I ordered brisket and ribs, with coleslaw and cornbread. I also ordered the street corn appetizer. The lemonade came quickly...my wife thought it was too sour, but I thought it was perfect. The meals came soon after, but I had to remind the waiter about the street corn appetizer. My wife stated she enjoyed the taco but it was spicey. The coleslaw was ok (and I love coleslaw) but this was made from pickled veggies and really was not to my taste. The cornbread came as three muffins with big chunks of butter...they were awesome. My pork ribs and brisket were good, but not anything special. About half way through the meal my appetizer was delivered to the couple next to us. After a couple minutes of confusion, it was determined that it was our corn, and they took it from the other couple. The corn was great, but should have arrived first.Iâll try this place again because the food wasnât bad. The interior artwork screams âSouthern BBQ Shackâ a little too loudly, with knives stuck in the wall, picnic benches, a fishing gear on the wall. A suggestion...keep the picnic tables, but get rid of the bench seats. The use a custom divider to make the picnic table into two tables. My wife and I waited for 15 minutes, but looked a three large picnic tables with only two people at each...such a waste.

Went with a group of 8 for lunch. Very busy when we came in but crowd thinned out after awhile. Decent food. Prices OK. Can be quite noisy when a large crowd is there. At a golf course so much of the crowd is golfers stopping in for a drink or a snack.

My husband and I went to The Hub on Friday night to relax and enjoy a casual dinner after a long week. We opted to sit out on the patio as it was a beautiful evening. I was surprised by children running around the dining room as we walked through, but was shocked when we were seated outside and there were kids running around chasing each other and screaming. I don't k NJ ow who I was more annoyed with, the parents who sat and talked while allowing this to go on or the management who did nothing to stop it. It was like eating at the playground! The kids were totally out of control. The food was good and our waiter did his best while trying to avoid tripping over all the kids, but it was totally unacceptable to have all these kids running around a restaurant.

The three of us ordered the beef dip sandwich, Minterbrook (local) oysters, and chicken strips (which were supposedly the dish most recommended). The beef dip sandwich was a compressed beef patty, not at all like hamburger. The oysters were only ok. And the chicken strips...well, only ok. This is one we will probably not go back to. Prices were pretty reasonable, though. Lots of TVs!

I have been to this location a couple of times as well as the one in Silverdale, Wa.The restaurant is always very clean and pleasant atmosphere. And although the wait staff is very nice, it seems like itâs the first time they have ever waited on anyone. For instance, the sandwich I ordered comes on potato bread, I asked if I could get plain white bread. The waitress assured me by pointing to the picture on the menu and telling me not to worry, it comes on toasted white bread. After nicely sayingâoh, I just noticed the description specifies potato bread, I just wasnât sureâ and again she reassured me, that it was white toasted bread. Guess what came out. The couple of times I have ate at any Applebeeâs, I have come away thinking that I could have had a better meal at home. If I go out, I would like to think âwow, that was goodâ or âI love going out for this because itâs so hard to make at homeâ and I just can never get there. Since itâs happened at more than one location, Iâm inclined to believe itâs the menu supplied by the company versus one chef at a particular restaurant.Considering all the other options within walking distance including the Safeway Deli across the parking lot, I think I would go with another option.

O'Neill's Bar & Grill (previously "Tanglewood Grill) is an Irish-American Restaurant with signature dishes and pub favorites. O'Neill's Bar and Grill is not a traditional Irish Pub. Our menu is a combination of Irish and American cuisines. We offer a bar
Most of the ambiance of the former Tanglewood Grill is still surviving this restaurant's transition to its new management, which is a good thing. It's a very comfortable warm space, when you walk in it's sort of like putting on your favorite sweater. It's a big log cabin atmosphere and fits in perfectly with the Pacific Northwest weather. Unlike when it was called Tanglewood, the restaurant is now highly visible from the street because they took out most of the tall bushes which lined the parking lot and formerly blocked any view of the building from the street. Now it's well lighted and much more welcoming to diners. We enjoyed both the food and the drinks from the full bar, and wouldn't hesitate to go back here on our next visit to Gig Harbor. We stay at the Gig Harbor Inn, which is directly across the street and very convenient.

If you like chili that has flavorful spice without an overly sweet tomato base, this chili is for you! The portions are generous but both times I have gone, the service is pretty slow- even when the place is not very busy. There is a big bar & plenty of parking. A good place for getting together with friends to watch a game & share a pitcher of beer. Walking distance to downtown Gig Harbor but far more affordable than many of the restaurants just down the street.

Wanted to try something different. Shakes are some of the best ever tasted. Mostly burgers and they are good. Pricey...â¦..sides are big. Liked the options......cute place, service was good. The reason it didn't get excellent was because of the price.

As this was the first time we visited this restaurant, we were pleasantly surprised. Do know that you order as you come in, get your own drinks, and then find your own table; however, after that the service is great! The food is great! And, most importantly, the kids loved the food too. Will go back again.
