Part of the Ramblinns collection across the south east of England. A pub serving breakfast, brunch, Lunch & dinner all day everyday.
The transformation in the venue is astounding, from the moment you walk through the opulent entrance it just completely wows you. The level of attention to detail is fantastic and I would go as far as to say that this is the nicest place I have ever been and can't wait to go back. Great choice of drinks has lots I haven't seen in other places including a vast choice of flavoure gins and a lovely menu

We often lunch there because of the sea view from the dining room and the good food. Interesting menu, fresh ingredients, well chosen wines or proper beer! The only waitress we know is charming and efficient. We can't wait for the weather to allow the use of the upstairs terrace. Hoping the experience will remain as pleasant with the increase in customers...

A great unspoilt country pub with an interesting history serving good simple pub food and a range of wines and beers, all at fair prices and served by friendly staff. Justifiably popular with local people and visitors alike.

A quirky pub situated in the heart of Folkestone's old town. With a large palmed summer garden and beautiful log lit fires this pub is a great visit all year round. The food on offering is traditional with a modern twist and is all to the highest quality.
After a rapid half-work day abroad in Belgium, followed by a few hours of relaxing, and then heading to France to check in, overnight, in a hotel, myself and a colleague required lunch, followed by a quick drink, upon return to the UK.Weâd eaten elsewhere, prior, but this looked a nice venue. Really lovely interior.Staff pleasant - clean and tidy place.Food menu looked nice, and atmosphere was relaxed.Terrace outside is excellent. Had a couple of Colas, whilst colleague said his beers were good.Very relaxing.

The Chambers is at first glance a street level Coffee Shop but by far the biggest surprise lies underground where The Chambers bar takes over! Either take in the great vista of watching Folkestone town life go on around you as you enjoy your freshly roast
My review is solely based on everything but their food here, I will get around to tasting some Chambers delights sometime soon. I've visited a fair few times over the past year for multiple different event nights and every single one has been great. The offering of beers, ciders and ales are exceptional, many local beers to try. The doormen and bar staff are super friendly, you'll see people of all ages and walks of life in there, it's just a really nice unique vibe. Chris is great (the owner) from my first visit for a friend's birthday, he went all out and arranged a few treats to make it extra special. Every week they have different DJ or live band nights on, take a look at their facebook for what's coming up, get yourself down there for a dance :)Hi ChampionByName & huge thanks for the five stars & awesome review!!Well you've summed up our 'venue' side of The Chambers perfectly i must say! We have domestic & international live music at least every Thursday evening & real quality Djs most every Friday & Saturday (after food service on the Sat). Also big thanks for mentioning the staff here too, from the door to the bar. We're really happy with the guys we have here and feel they represent what we're trying to do 100%, so having a customer put that in print for us is a real vindication of their & our efforts. Many thanks again and we hope to see you here again soon, maybe at the dining table......? :-)Cheers,The Chamber-Meister!

After reading the reviews on TA, we were really looking forward to eating here. And we weren't disappointed. As we went in, the first thing you notice are all the war memorabilia and metal signs everywhere. We actually ate upstairs, but there is a staircase leading downstairs to another seated area. Its a very small bar area, but that does not stop the {very friendly} locals sitting around it.We had our small grandson with us, and he loved the place. We ordered our food, hubby had the Steak, I had Mushroom burger, and our grandson had the cheeseburger. I have to say all three dishes were gorgeous. In fact it is the first time I have ever seen my grandson eat one. He absolutely loved it. It was all so tasty. I am looking forward to trying the dirty fries on my next visit. We will definitely be returning when we next visit Folkestone

Welcome to Earls Restaurant, one of Folkestone's best kept secrets and leading eateries. Nestled in the beautiful West End of Folkestone, Earls is renowned for its relaxed and welcoming atmosphere, friendly team, great value for money and above all, its d
I booked a lunch table at Earl's for 6 people, to celebrate my mum's birthday. The food was extremely good, especially notable were the starters and main courses which were very accomplished and nicely presented. My main course, confit of duck with roast potatoes and green beans was delicious!Special Note: It is really good to to see a restaurant that is not shying away from pushing "the best of English" wine and sparkling wine on its wine list.If I had to write a negative, then I'd say that while the desserts are more than OK, they were, in my opinion, not quite of the same standard as the starter and main courses - the Key Lime pie was a tad synthetic/overly creamy......If you are in the region, it is well worth a visit.
