Stopped by this restaurant with family while in Hendersonville. Server spilt wifeâs ranch dressing on table when setting plate down, and didnât even acknowledge that it happened, much less apologize or offer to clean or get more dressing. Salad was pretty much bag lettuce and wilted. Shrimp and friend green tomato sandwich was pretty bad, white bread barely toasted, shrimp tasted microwaved with no seasoning. Could not really tell if there was a fried green tomato. Chicken fingers were very dry with very little flavor. I donât usually write bad reviews but really felt I needed to this time.

Looking for something a little more special and boy did we find it. Lovely ambiance, especially at an upstairs window table. Fabulous crispy Brussels sprouts with horseradish honey - horseradish forward melting into honey sweetness. OMG mushroom pea croquettes - crunchy crust opening to creamy béchamel loaded with veggies, atop a killer charred shallot aioli. Husband had beautifully composed salad Nicoise. This place rivals my "if I could only eat in one restaurant for the rest of my life" Copper Crown (Asheville). Not to be missed. Thanks so much for visiting us and we are so pleased that you enjoyed your meal. Please come see us again soon!

Never had a bad meal here. Delicious lasagna, hamburgers, fries, fish and chips, salads. Lots of beer choices and good martinis. Nice, friendly waitresses. VERY noisy on music nights...Fri & Sat starting at 6. Eat early if you want to be able to talk.

Super beers. Stouts and porters (my favorites) are delicious with great flavor. My husband is the IPA guy and enjoyed his also. The food truck was not there yet, so I walked around the corner and picked up barbeque, (recommended) and was awesome also.

My wife and I visited the Black Rose for the first time looking for dinner on a Sunday night. Our innkeeper recommended this pub for its service, and he was right. Food, beer, and wine were all fine, but nothing special. Service was very attentive. We will return the next time we are in Hendersonville.

We had been before and were able to order from the restaurant above, West First. We were not able to order from the premier restaurant and only had their limited brunch- like menu, not what we had intended for Friday date night. The service was good but severely lacking on the menu.

While visiting Hendersonville last week and strolling on Main Street we came across Hannah Flanagan's pub. We decided to have our lunch there. We sat at a high top table in the bar area and our waitress Rosie was there to take our order in no time flat. She explained the menu and had some recommendations for us to think about. My wife had the shepards pie and I had the Pangasius fillet sandwich. It was a mild white fish and I had it blackened. It came with a choice of sides and I chose the red potatoes which were plentiful. Our lunch experience could not have been any better. This is a definite stop on our next visit to Hendersonville.

The manager there was extremely accommodating and set up a large section for us ahead of arrival. The wait staff was friendly and attentive throughout our visit. The food was decent, nothing bad, nothing amazing either. I recommend for a causal business dinner, peanuts on the floor kind of atmosphere. ââââThank you, Angela! Our restaurant prepares award winning barbecue meats and gourmet wood fired brick oven pizzas. With a state of the art smoker, Flat Rock Wood Room smokes pork, brisket, and chicken which are used to create our appetizing sandwiches. Our barbecue restauran
We arrived a few minutes after they had opened so it wasn't packed yet. We were seated right away and placed our order. My son's pizza came out but the rest of our order didn't come out to almost 20 minutes later. The food was delicious, our server was great but I wish we could have all eaten our meal at the same time. The couple behind us sat for over 15 minutes without anyone ever coming to take their drink order so they got up and left. The food is good though so it is worth a visit just be prepared to wait a little while.
