We are a family run restaurant open all year round. We have a large terrace for diningoverlooking the sea. We also have tables and chairs in the shady garden area. Inside we have a large dining area with an open fire in the winter. Our menu is extensive.
even though we were all inclusive at an excellent hotel with excellent food we always like to eat out now and again and we were very fortunate to stumble across this place where we ended up having 1 lunch and 3 dinners during our 2 week stay in june, first of all the warmth you receive from the hosts and staff and not to forget their labrador lucy is second to none, food is delicious and very cheap tbone steak shade over £7 excellent value for money, its also on the beach with great views.but myself derek and partner karen would personally thank the hosts carole and guven who ran us home to our hotel on our last night for making our time in calis special where we hope to return next year.It was lovely to meet you and a pleasure to serve you. Thank you very much for your lovely review. We hope to see you again.

Family run restaurant in the heart of Calis. Wether you prefer our traditional hand batter Cod served with home made chips, mushy peas and tartar sauce or our selection of meats/kebabs cooked over the Turkish Charcoal Grill there is something to suit ever
After reading several reviews we decided to try the Charcoal Palace. A promising start, we were told they were busy as they had a large booking. Over an hour later our glasses were empty, no one came to see us, the table next door waited over 30 mins for a menu. When the food arrived, the portions were enormous, but it was tasteless, eventually we asked for more drinks, as hadnât been offered any. Customer service needs major improvement, food needs flavour, far better local restaurants at better prices. Also questioned why their several dogs had no water, and received a very curt reply as they poured water into the dog bowl. Wonât rush back

We have been trying to get in at the Nil Bar for a few nights but there have been no tables. However, we spotted a table last night so stopped. We were given the greatest welcome by âAngelâ which made us feel like we have been going there for years! We enjoyed the bread rolls that the brought us to start. We had 5 amazing meals! I would highly recommend the king prawns! They really are delicious! For welcome, service and food this was our top restaurant so far and we will return! Thank you Angel and team.

Relax and enjoy a drink and wide range of Turkish and Internation Cuisine in the heart of ÃaliÅ Beach. A warm welcome awaits you in this idyllic location.
Stopped for a light snack, just toasties, which were delicious. However compared to other sea front restaurants the soft drinks were very expensive.Thank you for your feedback. We are sorry you felt our soft drink prices were expensive as we do ensure they are competitive with the other prime sea front location restaurants. We hope you will try us again soon!

We would never have found this little gem of a restaurant without some perseverance. It is a doorway in umbrella street. However once found never forgotten. Not only is it the most attractive, bohemian place but the food and service are excellent too. And good value. Meal for 2 (including steak) plus a drink and coffee was less than 200 lira. Oh I forgot. The free appetiser was possibly the best olive bread Iâve tasted.
