Overall nothing fancy but good food, music at times, cold drinks and fun people. We went there a couple of times and had a good evening. A number of locals hang out there too and makes for an enjoyable evening
Top 5 International food in Fernando de Noronha, State of Pernambuco, Brazil
It is a small coffee shop, located close to the Flamboyant square, very convenient. Well done and tasty health sandwiches, cold teas, juices and "açaÃ"! It is a perfect quick meal after a day at the beach, before going back to the "pousada" for a shower.

We ended up eating at "Duda Rei" the restaurant bar that is located on the Praia da Conceição. The food was fresh but overpriced, the service was good and the view of the beach was great. Unfortunately for us we were told that we could pay in dollars at a convenient exchange rate but once the bill came we were quoted the average rate given on the island which is way below the commercial rate. The manager (maybe owner) was not very understanding but at the end she tried to be accommodating. For international travelers it's important to know that you "must" change your money into the local currency before you come to this beautiful island.

Very well prepared.Nice atmosphere. The owner came to the table to ask is everything is o.K.I recommend the place.

Below the settlement of Vila dos Remedios and above the Praia do Cachorro, the 'beach of the dog' because of a rock of that shape, is the 'Bar do Cachorro', which also functions as a restaurant. It is a beautiful place with outdoor seating and a great view towards the coast. There is place for dancing, but that is usually the case only in later hours. When there for dinner twice it had live music, first a saxophon player, later on a guitarist and singer. There is a 'couvert' in the menu bill of 10 BRL for the music. For dinner I selected from the 'Petiscos' a portion of 'Isca de peixe' (fishbait). It was 'crocante' as it said, but an enormous amount, wich I couldn't finish. It came with 3 'molhos' in separate little bowls: tartaro, oriental and geleia de pimenta. The next evening I asked for 'Camarãos alho e óleo'.As dessert I tried a Pernambuco speciality called 'Cartola', which is grilled sugary bananas topped by a melted 'queijo coalho' (rennet cheese). The next time I went for the 'Petit Gateau', a small chocolate cake. Both desserts were accompanied by vanilla ice cream. Many people come here for drinks only and then go to other restaurants, as I could see, when walking back to my accomodation. I stayed here mainly because I enjoyed the location of the place, close to the water.

Had few drinks in the bar. They have a terrace which is nice but the space is not very atmospheric. Live music was very nice though.
