Fun food! Nice place! Walking distance from the Omni hotel. I had the brisket tacos and they were delicious! We also had the pimento cheese dip as an appetizer.

The Louisiana French Creole use the term âlagniappeâ to describe something thatâs âa little something extra,â and that's exactly what chef owner Brian Grimley knows it takes to transform a dish from mere food into an experience you never forget. Inspired
This was the first time trying this restaurant. At the southern part of the island, convenient location. Great looking space with outdoor dining available. My wife and I both had steaks cooked perfectly, as well as these awesome crispy brussel sprouts as a side. Everything was great! Happy to have a new spot for futures visits to Amelia Island

Loved Cantina Louie. Had read reviews and it sounded pretty good and it was better than pretty good! Cantina Louie was great! The atmosphere was so cool. There was an amazing cross wall. And the f o o d was Y U M M Y. I don't think you could go wrong with anything on the menu. Cantina Louie is a popular spot. Be prepared to wait. If you like margaritas, make sure you have one of their tasty ones! Enjoy!

I felt that the service at Brett's Waterway Cafe was very average. The food that I had was very good.

This restaurant is located almost under the Thomas A. Shave Jr. Bridge and you get there from the West end of the bridge. Turn South off 200/A1A toward Shuckers Restaurant and proceed to the left down the dirt road named Wades Place. Continue just passed the VFW (on the right side of the road) where the road turns left under the bridge and you will enter the Down Under parking lot. There are two doors facing the parking lot. Enter the one on the left to find yourself at the hostess station. There was a nice selection of music playing and it was at a low enough volume to allow easy conversation without raising your voice. They have an impressive array of seating options, including; upstairs party room with commanding view of the surrounding area and an abbreviated bar, bar seating at their full service bar, several different dining rooms and an outside deck overlooking the intracoastal Waterway. There are even places to tie up at their dock if you are arriving by boat. The deck overlooks the Intracoastal Waterway and the 1920 railroad swing bridge that occasionally rotates at its middle to allow trains to travel to Amelia Island. Their varied menu seems to have something almost everyone with sections for Appetizers, Sandwiches, Oysters, Soup and Salads, Entrées, Kids Menu, and Sides. The three of us decided on Orange Blossom Honey Glazed Salmon with baked potato side, Shrimp and Grits with Coleslaw side, and Signature Grouper Monterey with a tossed salad side. We chose a White Russian, a virgin drink mix and an ice water to satisfy our thirst. We concluded our meal by sharing a slice of key lime pie and a chocolate chip brownie. The honey was an interesting compliment to the piece of salmon. The baked potato was cold and was sent back. Its replacement was only slightly warmer and still not warm enough to melt the butter, as if it were simply placed in a microwave to reheat it. The Shrimp and Grits was as good as expected. The Signature Grouper Monterey could have been better if the cheese had been hot enough to melt over the grouper. The seafood, waterfront ambiance was very pleasant. Their service was good, but the quality of food, preparation and presentation did not justify their cost. The bill for the three of us was over $100. Their lunch menu appeared to have a much more reasonable pricing structure. We might come back for lunch, but will pass on their supper entrées.

We were exploring downtown Fernandina Beach and walked past the restaurant- menu looked good, patio looked clean... so we gave it a try and are so glad we did! Our server was funny, personable and professional. She gave great recommendations. We especially enjoy the Reuben spring rolls and fish tacos.

We offer a carefully crafted eclectic menu to cater to all tastes and personalities. Enjoy a wide array of specialty menu items, some favorites we have picked up along the way, including a Tuna Poke Bowl (straight from Wishbones in Costa Rica), Fresh Roll
The space is beautiful with a great outdoor patio and music, It is brand new and decor is nice. However the food is seriously lacking. Plain, tasteless food for above average pricing. The waitstaff is very rude and disinterested. I would recommend outdoor patio but avoid eating here.Thank you for taking the time to provide us with your feedback and kind words on our patio and music. Great ambience inside and outside. Excellent service. My wife had the blackened Mahi Mahi sandwich. I had the Pastrami Reuben with house made 1000 Island dressing. Everything was really good...large portions and careful attention to all the small things that make for a memorable meal. Highly recommended.

A great place for Lunch and Dinner overlooking the Amelia River and a sunset view every night!
We stopped in for lunch and found the establishment to be popular and busy. Menu has a good variety and drinks. We sat in the upstairs balcony overlooking the waterfront. Service was friendly and not rushed. Suggestions - go in daylight and sit in upstairs balcony to enjoy the outdoor environment. Go a little early or later in order to avoid the crowd for lunch or dinner.

Fresh. Seasonal. Made-from-Scratch. Burlingame makes fine dining experiences accessible in a comfortable environment. A small seasonally changing menu of perfectly composed dishes is complimented by top quality service in this restored 1940's home. Chef C
Fantastic casual dining with unique seasonal menu. Locals recommended this restaurant! Chef was previously at Ritz Carlton and is excellent. Restaurant is in a historic area of the city in a home remodeled for restaurant purposes. Service was excellent and timely. Food was savory and unique. We had charred octopus for appetizer which was excellent, even my Spanish friend who borders on octopus expert really enjoyed it. The snapper was awesome! We will definitely be back next time in Fernandina!
