Burgers, sandwiches, salads, and a whole lot of sharable starters - we serve up comfort food with an original twist. And since we believe you can never have too much of a good thing, every entrée comes with your choice of two sides. But food isn't the onl
We arrived just after lunch and the place was empty which was odd but the service was great. We only ordered appi's and beer so it was hard to judge the food quality but what we had was good. The service was quick and there were no issues with our order. I have been to may Original Joe's in Alberta & BC and have never in in one where there were children in the bar area.

The Lion Rampant Scottish Pub is an oceanfront, neighbourhood pub, located in beautiful Maple Bay, British Columbia, Canada! We serve traditional Scottish food, plus a great selection of Canadian favourites! Where else can you get a poutine with haggis?!?
We were 2 couples stopped in for beers and some appies. The beer was nice and cold, service was very good but the appies were just okay. And the portions were not very big, especially for $15 each. Canât say we will be rushing back.Hello! Thanks for your review. Glad you enjoyed the beer & service, but we're sorry you weren't pleased with the appies. We actually get comments quite often on how big our portions are, so I think the kitchen might have had an off-day. Again, sorry you weren't totally happy, but hope you give us another chance. Our staff are pretty amazing, and the view is to die for! Thanks :)

The Satellite Bar & Grille at Arbutus Ridge Golf Club is located in the seaside community of Cobble Hill, amongst some of Vancouver Islandâs finest wineries and the Cowichan Valleyâs only Cidery. Arbutus Ridge is a 40-minute drive north from Victoria and
Thirteen of us who live locally and have known each other for a long time. Wonderful setting with views across the golf course to the sea, Saltspring Island and the coastal mountains. Mount Baker can be seen from the deck and the sunset is spectacular. We had wonderful service from Sarina and her coworkers who treated us above and beyond...! The menu was a mixture of burgers and salads, and some interesting main dishes with monthly specialities. The chowder was excellent. Wines add to the cost, of course but not to expensive and a reasonable selectoin of these and ales. Desserts , I was told were good. Although the kitchen closed around 8.00 pm we were not pushed to leave and sat with coffee and good conversation until close to 9.0 pm. Main course all seemed to be less than 20 dollars which seems to be excellent pricing for a great evening with friends.Thank you for the detailed review. We appreciate the time you took to offer your feedback!

This restaurant, is alright if you want to be in a pub atmosphere. We wanted to be in the Dining Room. However with the Hotel Renovationsthey no longer have the nice Dining Room. We found the food average andvery noisy. We shall not be back for a nice family meal. I hear that a lot of the staff have left, such a shame.

Greek and Canadian style food , from sandwiches and homemade soup, burgers and fries to pasta and ribs,, then again wonderful roasted lamb. We now have Vegan and Gluten Free options.
We lived in Montreal and close to Ottawa for many years where there are very large Greek communities and many Greek restaurants. We were walking towards A&W for a quick lunch when we spotted Pegasus (the Gods must have been on our side!). Went right in. Decor is really neat! Reception was wonderful. Not knowing what the food was like, we ordered simple lamb pitas. If a restaurant can do those well the rest of the menu will be excellent. Beer and wine were very good. Service was slow enough that you knew these were prepared to order and quick enough to bring them hot to the table. Our server was a sweet gal and took good of us. This will be our restaurant of choice whenever we come to Duncan. Thanks for everything!

This is a quote of the website list of weekly specials. "THURSDAY â HAPPY HOUR PRICING ALL DAY â CURRENT PRICING"So we thought everything was happy hour all day, but in fact it in only on a couple of drink specials - House wine $1 off, beer specials and maybe some drinks. They do have a list of food happy hour specials, but it doesn't specify the time. So you must ask. We specifically asked the server about the happy hour specials and ordered a glass of house wine $ 1 off. We then ordered 3 appy's from the happy hour menu but the server did not advise us that it was not food happy hour. The food is always consistently good and we will go back for casual fare. They have a lot of specials , but some are late night and certain days only so have to ask first.

My wife and I ate there tonight. We were both in the mood for fish and chips. First of all, although the server was friendly we waited a long time to be served. I had the halibut, my wife the cod. The cod came battered with panko and was over cooked. The halibut had a beer batter that was light and very good. The fries were good, but the coleslaw was a little dry. We had to wait at least 10 minutes to get our bill which was not appreciated.

A well established local hot spot, we are famous for fresh food and hand crafted beer; as well as fun, energetic staff and a great atmosphere!
This a nice brew pub who produce a really good lager, do excellent food and thereâs always a pretty decent atmosphere. We were in once (many moons ago) and there was a terribly loud and terribly bad singer playing but Iâve only seen that the one time.Dropped by for dinner yesterday and were immediately told by the server that there would be a bit of a delay with our food because it was so busy but I canât say either of us noticed it taking particularly long. Crispy chicken burger, steak sandwich or fish tacos are excellent and their fries are my absolute favourite. Their onion rings are good too!Staff are always great as well - they pay enough attention that theyâre always there when you need something but not constantly bugging you.

Family owned and operated local hotspot for craft beer, local wine, fresh food and house-made desserts!
Passing through Duncan on Sunday evening we were looking for a restaurant for dinner. Most downtown places were closed. Just Jake's looked inviting so we gave it a try. We were met by a friendly hostess and seated immediately. Lots of good choices on the menu. I choose the Ruben sandwich. Interesting bread and filling. Our meals were excellent as was the service by our server. Excellent craft beer. The atmosphere was unique and not too noisy. Prices were fair and we were very satisfied.
