Our philosophy is simple: We believe in providing the best barbeque and seafood in south Louisiana. We specialize in competition style barbeque from the Carolinas, Missouri, Texas and Tennessee regions.
Last night was our first visit. Our server was very friendly and very knowledgeable. We were brought a plate of homemade potato chips and homemade bread & butter pickles as we read the menu. Typical menu - nothing creative. My husband ordered the BBQ Smokehouse platter - brisket & ribs, hand cut french fries, a small container of coleslaw & a bread. I ordered the variety of "sliders", chicken, pulled pork and chopped brisket, hand cut fries included. For my taste the meat had too much of a smoke flavor (just my opinion). My husband's response is "it was OK". I'm not sure what we were expecting, but we doubt we'd return. The restaurant itself was nice and it was clean.

We were seated immediately. Waitress was polite and prompt. My wife had margarita on the rocks which was very good and delivered quickly. We had quest with beef which was very good. My wife had steak fajitas which were very good. I had the Poblano pepper stuffed with steak. It was ok but nothing special. Overall nice visit

We enjoy going to Chili's when we are in an area where they are. This Chili's did not disappoint us. Normal Chili's menu, thus a variety for everyone to suit your tastes. We enjoy their burgers and were not disappointed. Cooked to perfection for us. We found the service at this Chili's a step above and really customer oriented. Attentive, fast, and very service oriented. If you are in the area, this Chili's will not disappoint you.

The pizza and calzones are awesome. But if you haven't tried Rotolo's Lasagna, you MUST. It's prepared fresh and no preservatives are used. I ordered and delivered a pan of Rotolo's lasagna to a group of colleagues and I must say, it was a delicious pan of freshness.Give it a try on your next visit.

Today was my last visit to Burgersmith. Always like the burgers here but the service at the Juban Crossing store is horrible. Waited 35 minutes for a simple burger and fries. Brought someone else's order to my table twice. When I finally got my order it was still wrong. Lunchtime on a Monday and the place was half full. Unacceptable compared to competition.I won't be back. Mcwestm,We are so sorry that you had a bad experience at our restaurant, and even more sorry that we are just responding to you. We hope you give us another chance as we have made changes in the operations of that location. We hope to see you again.

I eat here occasionally and have always been satisfied with the food and the service. I usually have the catfish plate and have also had the crawfish etouffee, seafood gumbo, shrimp and always start with the hushpuppies. Also, the only imported seafood that I know of that they serve is tilapia and I have personally asked that they discontinue serving it. I am a big supporter of Louisiana grown seafood.

While traveling to Baton Rouge for an LSU Football game we decided to stop at Walk-Ons in Denham Springs. Although the restaurant was very busy we were seated immediately. Our server was very friendly and courteous. We placed our order and after a short while were told that one of the items that we ordered wasn't available so an alternate was chosen. Our food was delivered in a timely manner and was prepared as ordered. The hangover burger was very good, the shrimp platter was surprisingly good and the chicken strips where outstanding. The only item that didn't taste good were a side order of string beans, I didn't taste them but my son who loves string beans just couldn't eat them.Overall it's what one might expect out of a Sports Bar/Bistreaux, nothing great but nothing horrible. If I'm in the area again I'd give them another try and I'd suggest that you do too.

We were looking for place close to our hotel. Liked the menu online so decided to try it. Glad we did. Nice atmosphere. We were politely greeted when we entered. We sat in the bar area. Waitress was excellent. Polite, kept our drinks filled, very sweet. We had pork nachos as appetizer. For entrees my wife had steak and fries. They have their own 98 steak sauce which was very good. I had Catfish Plaquemine which was delicious. This is a nice place for anyone, family, sports enthusiast, etc. will definitely go back when in town.

A kid friendly establishment, known for tasty burgers, signature sandwiches, steaks, catfish and shrimp, Big Mike's is located near l-12 just off Range ave. in the bustling heart of Denham Springs, Louisiana. Stop in for lunch or dinner, or just to enjoy
Stopped into Mike's on a Sunday night. Restaurant was half full, but the noise from the sports bar was very loud. I had the Shrimp & Corn soup for starters. It was thick and creamy. I liked it. Unfortunately, I only took two spoons full when my Big Mike's Platter arrived. The platter consisted of Shrimp, catfish, boudin balls and served with your choice of French fries or baked potato. I got the fries. Everything on the platter was good. The shrimp and catfish were lightly battered and fried. They tasted fresh. The fries were shoestring and cooked perfectly. I enjoyed my meal and would go back.
