Few restaurants offer liver & onions any more. Chances still does, and at a fantastic price of just $10. It includes bacon, mashed potatoes, gravy and delicious sauteed vegetables. The serving is a little on the small side (just one slice of liver) but is still excellent value. Cheap beer as well because it is a casino. Recommended for liver lovers.

The Timber Room Bar and Grill is a family friendly casual destination that is open 7 days a week and boasts the âbest patio in the Comox Valleyâ which overlooks the majestic Comox Glacier and Coastal Mountains. Our menu is meant to engage oneâs appetite w
We were spending the night at the Crown Isle resort so ate in the onsite restaurant. Our server was friendly; took our order quickly. We had humus to start, very good, then clam chowder and stir fry, both hot and tasty. It wasn't very busy so not a lot of noise. Would eat there again.

We have frequented the Red21 and have always had a good meal and love the homemade soups! For the meat lovers a favourite appy is their lollipop ribs or a must have is the prime rib dinner, a real winner. The best is the great staff, we have always been greeted and treated well.

Reserved a booth,i Thought i would have an enjoyable meal of Liver and Onions. The Comox valley is not the place for liver and onions.Very few places have it,one other plus the high tide. Two of us ordered the liver and onions and my other friend ordered the fish and chips.WE both agreed we should have ordered the Fish and chips.Enough said on that subject. We will not order the liver and onions ever AGAIN, Cheers

We had the fish and chips and the fish was soggy and greasy on the bottom. The hot wings were ok but nothing special. We also had the mushroom pizza which had good flavour but was crazy greasy. Service was below average and the food took 45 minutes to show up. Not the best effort by the White Whale

The pub was close to the hotel so it was very convenient. But sometimes convenient isn't always the best.... Lucky to say, this time, this pub was both, the best and very convenient. The beer/wine store was very cool. Friendly and personable staff. Food was the usual pub fare.

Come savor an appetizing meal at Prime Chop House & Wine Bar. They are open nightly all week and are readily accessible by car. The neighboring area is remarkable for its parks. Payments by gift certificates are recognized.
This restaurant has one of the nicest decors in the Comox Valley. Just on impulse we decided to go for their advertised 2 for 1 burgers. We were not disappointed. They were excellent and very filling. The wait staff were very friendly and our waiter was very attentive. Also we got in on Happy Hour so enjoyed a glass of wine for half the price. I would recommend this restaurant.

We stopped at Cornerstone's a few days ago for a burger and a beer. The burger was not very good at all. It seemed to be really thick almost like a ball, and then plopped in the middle of a very large square flat bun. The meat didn't taste that great - really chewy and well done and the whole thing was just not good. Service was friendly and the beer yummy, though and also the whole place is just very comfy but they've got to get it together with the burgers.

We stopped off for lunch on our drive up the coast and were completely blown away by this place. It boasts a magical outside patio area to the rear, complete with mature grape vines, fairy lights and lots of seating. The food was truly excellent ( I enjoyed a portobello mushroom stuffed with crab meat and topped with mozzarella and my husband had the best rock fish burger) and the service is second to none! A must try is the cucumber G & T!! Highly recommended.

Consistently good spot to eat. We ordered a lamb burger and jambalaya. The lamb burger was juicy flavorful and great value for your money. The jambalaya was disappointing, it should have been filled with lots of sausage shrimp but was mostly peppers and a few of the meats. Ordered medium spicy and unfortunately it just tasted like it had a hot sauce on the whole dish. It was served over rice. The waitress was very informative about the specials and the service was fairly good. We will go back, just won't have the jambalaya.
