Family-run cafe. Aim to please with delicious food; homemade soups and breads, fresh juices & smoothies, selection of wraps and sandwiches, 100% Irish beef burgers, yummy desserts, freshly brewed coffees, plus so much more, all served with a smile by warm
An unexpectedly pleasant lunch before a match at Ballyhaunis included a tasty cheesey blt, lovely crisp potato wedges and deliciius homemade mushroom soup. Due to a call one of our coffees had cooled down and was immediately replaced free of charge. We were invited to enter tge local raffle being drawn that day and won a bottle of Baileys! Worth a visit, lovely place and people.

Had the burger here this evening, good portion sizes even with the smaller burger option and quite tasty, would have preferred if the chips hadn't been salted before being served but still very nice. Service was good, very friendly barman/server. Best of all they have prosecco on tap at 5 euro a glass, great value and a lovely prosecco. Cocktails also available at reasonable prices. Would recommend.Thank you very much for your kind words!!

Stopped off here for breakfast this morning. Good location with parking. Decent breakfast with great value price. Scones were fresh and warm. Chips were lovely too. Friendly and helpful staff. We enjoyed our visit and left very full.

We had lunch here recently on our way home from a football match. The carvery and bar were busy as there was an Ireland rugby game on. The roast beef lunch was tasty and hot. The servings are very generous and the staff are very accommodating if there are special requests. We also found the bill very reasonable for 3 lunches and a soup.

My husband and i visited recently. We arrived around 5pm as u cannot book a table for 2 people. We were seated straight away. service was good. they were quiet at that time as it wasnt long opened. It started to pick up from about 5.45pm so be prepared to wait if u turn up after 6pm especially at the weekend. Menu had a nice selection. Food was delicious, well presented and tasty. Lovely friendly atmosphere.

Val's never lets you down! I went there yet again, with a group of 20 others to enjoy our Active Retirement Christmas Dinner 2018, and we certainly weren't disappointed! The four-course menu available had enough variety to more than satisfy everyone. Everything was beautifully cooked, the service was efficient and 'merry' and a jolly good evening was enjoyed by all! The lovely Christmas décor really helped to make the evening special and we thank the restaurant staff sincerely for looking after us all so well! Wishing you all a very merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!

Whilst staying locally, we decided to come in for dinner on a Wednesday evening. There was lots of variety on the menu and the portions were very generous. The two members of staff who served us were lovely and very attentive. Clearly recognising our accents they took the time to make conversation with us about what we were doing in Ireland. Will definitely eat here again if we are back in the area.

Just a short drive from Ballyhaunis, we had dinner here on a Tuesday evening. Reservations are a must since this is a small restaurant. Check their web site to see their great menu selection. The staff is very friendly and the service good except we had to wait 15 minutes for our check after the meal. They serve good size portions of food and there is a value menu from 5-7 PM. The chicken caesar salad starter was almost a meal by itself with a lot of chicken. The goat cheese bon bons starter was excellent. The grilled salmon with shrimp and basil cream sauce was excellent, but there was very little shrimp in the sauce. The Old Arch chicken supreme was excellent and the black pudding stuffing added a little spice taste.

Situated in Brickens on the N60, exactly halfway between the towns of Claremorris & Ballyhaunis
Called in for lunch & to read the paper. Excellent service from Damien, really friendly & welcoming guy, a true professional. Had the cajun chicken burger & sweet potato fries which were both excellent. Great selection of local beers which unfortunately I didn't get a chance to try this time but will be back
