My friend and I had our retirement party here a couple of days ago, the bar was very accommodating to what we wanted and all the staff working that evening were fantastic and very welcoming . The cocktail menu was extensive and reasonably priced. Will definitely be back .It was great fun hosting the retirement party, thank you all for choosing to hold it with us - and for the wonderful atmosphere you all created. So glad that you enjoyed yourselves! Hope you're also enjoying the retirement! :)

Great friendly and welcoming service. Dogs welcome. Staff were so friendly it was a really lovely as some places are very impersonal. Food was great. Lots of lamb, brilliant veg and the rosy potatoes were delicious. Every roast had a Yorkshire pudding on it. Good selection of ales. Sticky toffee pudding was really light and tasty. Will definitely be back.

A traditional village pub located directly on The Cotswold Way, serving great beer and food. The pub also has four recently refurbished letting rooms and a safe, enclosed garden.
Revisited here for Sunday lunch on 30 June 19.Seems to be under new management. The meal was appallingly bad.On making complaint regarding our lunch were given the brush off saying they were busy. Would suggest that it is given a miss as I will be doing in future.

Since reopening the pub in March 2009 we've tried to impress people coming back with a wide selection of real ales and a stunning menu & specials board selection from our chefs. Visit our website to have a look at our restaurant menu, our drinks offering
Stopped in here for a light lunch. This is clearly a very popular pub. The girl behind the bar was very friendly and welcoming and cleared a table for us after taking our order. We only had sandwiches but they were very good. the bread was fresh and the sandwiches came with cole slaw and salad. The only reason I have rated this a 3 star is that I think the cold drink that I had may have been past its use by date. The drink was a funny colour which I was assured was normal colour and it tasted OKish but there was a lot of sludge at the bottom of my glass. It may be that it hadn't been shaken up enough before serving.

I would like to thank all the staff, in this great pub, for making our 50th wedding anniversary, last week, such a memorable one. We had our wedding reception at the pub and it was so lovely to be back there again. The pub has changed, as one would expect, in 50 years and is very attractively decorated. The lovely staff were so helpful and friendly. The service was excellent and the food beautifully cooked and presented. We only wish we lived nearer! We had a very happy time and enjoyed ourselves immensely. Thank you so much.
