Had the pleasure of eating dinner here tonight after passing this restaurant for a week since we arrived on vacation. A pleasant upscale feeling ambiance with very good service. The beer and wine menus are limited, but do provide options. Food was prepared to order and was good, though the meatloaf was dry. I had the taco salad and it was delicious. We had the chips and guacamole (menu says that you get three dips, NOT a choice of one), appetizer and it was very good. Will definitely consider returning to Tavern 292 again, and will recommend it to others.

We live across the street and this is a great place to stop for a drink. Don't expect anything fancy, but the beers are priced well and wine is OK too. Always a friendly crowd and attentive bartenders. But if you're hungry, go somewhere else - the food isn't very good, even when you're inebriated.

First, parking. My wife and I searched in vain for a street parking place in front of, side streets, or rear of this pub. Maybe the third time around the block, my wife spied the Egan parking lot behind the pub! It's big, but the couple we met also missed it. The pub is excellent. Excellent food, extensive beer list. My wife is vegetarian, and there were a number of choices for her. We recommend the "Irish Toasties" (small toasted sandwiches with tomato, cheese, mushrooms and bacon). The Shepherd's Pie (here "Cottage Pie") was well done with small chunks of tender beef. My wife's salad topped with salmon she described as perfectly done and delicious. The wife of the couple we met complained of a cold. She had a Hot Toddy, and later turned to her husband and said, "Honey, order me another one of those. It's really helped!" We met for lunch on.a Saturday to avoid night driving, and stayed for three hours -- an excellent time.

I hate giving bad reviews but, this might be one of the worst pubs there is.Cleanliness is not on top of their priority list, food has been the same for ages; not good. The decorations have been there since the stone ages but if you want a beer and your a âlocalâ it may be your kind of place.

Called ahead to reserve a table and glad we did. Seated right away, our waitress Jordon was excellent, handling 8 people's orders without issue. Ordered a salad for the table which was perfect then order pizza. Fantastic, being from NJ and now living south, we can't find pizza like this..will be back.

Went Tuesday for lunch. Sat in back atrium area. Pleasant with lots of natural light. Also outside patio seating available in good weather. Server was very nice and efficient but not especially attentive and restaurant was not crowded. Hamburger was very good and waffle fries were excellent.

Tremendous happy hour with excellent food. Choose from an enormous amount of small plates for only $4 each. The amazing part though is the quality of the food. Not your typical bar food, but rather more on the gourmet side. The drink specials are fantastic as well. You can get a martini for $6, wine or beer for $3 a glass. You can even get IPA beer for that price. Amazing. Plus I want to thank the owner Brandon who let us sit in the dining room for happy hour since the happy hour is for the bar area. Brandon let our party of six sit in the main dining room and never rushed us out. And the service was phenomenal as well. Grad, our server was great. It was just an excellent dining experience all around.

The good: 3 couples and everyone liked their food, but for some reason we expected more. Service was very good but there was an annoying little error. Restaurant was trendy but also very noisy. Prices were a little higher than comparable venues. Overall, it was a very good restaurant but but I don't think we will be going back
