The Fuel Restaurant in Monte Gordo has integrated into its DNA a varied balanced and healthy offer. Meals are based on the rich Mediterranean diet. The vegetables are very present in our menu, allowing you to also choose vegetarian dishes. Most of the pro
Our meal at Fuel was good without being outstanding, it probably wasn't very good but it was better then average. When we first got there the place was vertully empty so the waiters was very attentive, telling us all about the meals on the menu, and giving us their specials. We got some nice little breads and olives as a starter and the were very nice, the meals we ordered came after a short wait and they were nice and pletyful. After that we barely saw a waiter, the restaurant becomes busy as its part of the hotel and they were all running about but not once did they come to the table asking if everything was alright or whether we would like another drink, someone eventually arrived when the meals were finished and took the plates away without saying a lot, then turned back up 10 minutes later with the deserts menu which we declined and just asked for the bill which took another 10 minutes. So all in all it has a good menu. the food was nice but but the service a little slow, they did appear to have enough waiters and they all looked busy and maybe we just caught them on a particularly busy night, but it took us nearly two hours to have two courses so be prepared to wait.

At the mouth of the Guadiana river, where the river meets the sea, the Grand Beach Club is an invitation to idleness. Lie back on a sunbed by the infinity pool, which overlooks the sandbanks and the boats floating on the river; enjoy the restaurantâs auth
We visited grand beach club last night on a party of 4 plus a children. First impressions were amazing, there isnât anything quiet as this place around the area, the beautiful setup over the water, the tropical stylist with local/typical appointments decoration and infinity pool brings are on point! The service was cordial and attentive. The menu has several items that are appealing to order, but we choose 3 pizzas, a Cesar salad and a tuna burger. The burger was delicious the pizzas were ok, but the Cesar salad had anchovies that were never mentioned in the menu description of the salad. When confronted with this situation we explained that we do not like anchovies and that it was not mentioned in the menu and got a âohhhh that is a good catch, we never noticedâ.To add on this the sangrias were super overpriced 35 euros.... I understand that they are supporting the local economy and producers, but life in the east of the ALgarve is not expensive at all, so donât give me that excuse. Overall they could have made an attention to the salad issue by either bringing the manager or asking sorry and taking it off the bill or simply offering a courtesy coffee or desert.Dear Valued Guest, Thank you very much for your kind feedback. We are very happy that you enjoyed the ambience of our Grand Beach Club and that you emphasize exactly the details that make up the charm of our establishment and our attentive staff. We apologize if you weren´t expecting anchovies on your Caesar salad, unfortunately we can´t write each single item of each dish on our menu to avoid several pages even though anchovies are part of an original Caesar salad and our decoration of this salad. We will talk to our staff and train them in responding correctly to our customers. In terms of the Sangria we are sorry not to have fulfilled your expectations. Our beverages at our venue are a bit more expensive than at other restaurants around as we use different kind of premium beverages and fresh products for our Cocktail and Sangrias which start at a price of 28â¬.Perhaps one day you will give us the opportunity to welcome you again to show you a different kind of service. We would be happy about that. Meanwhile wishing you a Grand Summer!

The castle-like clubhouse up on the hill looks very impressive, but thatâs the best bit. Confused staff in the under stocked shop donât think to offer to sell you a token for the range while they charge you â¬36 for a buggy without a satnav, or a cooler or even a bottle of water. Bring your own tee pegs and pencil. The preparation of the course is not up to the same standard as other local courses, and it has more flies. The bar and terrace are good.

Had drinks and dinner. A very busy evening. Staff tried to keep up. Difficult at times. Sangria was ok. No fruit other than one orange. Nice wine selections. Wide variety of food choices. Anything from toasties to full dinner. Had a starter, pasta and stir fry. All outstanding. Would go back to try other menu items.

Mobyâ s Bar is situated up a side street facing a large car park. We had rad reviews about it and decided to call in one afternoon. We asked for the food menu and all they serve are burgers so we declined. We had a drink instead. The waitress was friendly enough but the bar had no atmosphere and no customers. We often had to pass it to reach our hotel and there was never anyone in.
