Bubbaâs is nothing short of outstanding. The fresh cut fries are excellent. My friend had the sweet potato fries and she loved them. It was fresh meat, great service, and an excellent choice of beers!

this place could be really nice -- but it is missing some obvious, some little, and some big things. First we were shocked by how bright it was -- turn the lights down, give the place some atmosphere. The bar was a mess -- supplies were not put away, boxes of Tylenol and Gas-X by the register (not the best choice to leave out at a restaurant), etc. It took too long for someone to wait on us at the bar -- and when she did she didn't know much about the beers they made. (we started w/ a flight of their own beer -- they were all good.) There were signs on the wall -- I don't even remember what they said, they were just handwritten -- nicer signs would have also helped w/ the ambience. The menu was actually interesting -- chartucterrie, burger, salads, etc. we each had a sandwich -- they came on a plate w/o any sides (they could have thrown some fries or chips or coleslaw on the plate. The sandwiches would have been good if they weren't so greasy (the burger had cheddar and fried provolone and bacon -- I nice combination; the bologna sandwich was just OK -- grease dripped of the bread, from the butter, or oil, or lard, or whatever they cooked it in.I understand- this is just a bar, with bar food. but, that said, this place has a lot of potential and some small changes would really help

Had reservations for 6pm. Was seated promptly. At 7 pm, after 4 requests for bread, and having a manager to our table, we finally got bread. We were given free soup for our trouble. The lobster bisque was lukewarm. Apparently this was the first day working for the person making the salads, and he "didn't know how". Eventually, we did get our salads. When the entrees finally came, the pasta on the chicken parm had barely enough sauce to cover it, and again, was lukewarm. Yes, it was busy, but there were open tables. Server was apologetic. Problem was in the kitchen.

Stopped in to get a hoagie and the entire staff was eating while they were preparing food!!! Was so disgusted and walked out. They have (had) great wings but never again will I go there after 15 years of being a customer. Wish I could rate it a zero.

The wings are the best in the Pittsburgh area - about 30 flavors - I had all three garlic: garlic, garlic Parmesan and hot garlic and you cannot find better wings from anywhere I've seen around the Pittsburgh area and I have tried just about all the best. My buddy had the mild and the Louisiana sauce and he was in agreement! The place is a nice friendly atmosphere - a bit of a dive bar (in a nice way) with very friendly people!
New place that we heard about through "word of mouth". Checked and saw that it opened at 4:00 PM and since we heard it was on the small side we went early on a snowy Saturday at 4:15. Good thing....it filled up quickly. We got a high top and server was there in an instant (Shannon). We checked over the small but unique menu and this is definitely a level or two above your usual bar fare. We ordered the Poutine Fresh Cut Fries, the Grilled Cheese sandwich and the crab cake sandwich. Excellent on all counts! Not too many places serve curds around here and definitely none we know of in the Canonsburg area. The owner (Harold) was the bartender and he answered questions about how the menu was created, etc. He also said that they are planning to open a larger dining room in the back soon. We will definitely return. GREAT NEW PLACE!

Long-running Pittsburgh-born chain known for sandwiches piled high with coleslaw & french fries.
The thought behind this was that you didn't have to put your sandwich down to eat your fries. You are going to need plenty of napkins and something to drink though. The sandwich shop chain started way back in 1933 by three brothers in Pittsburgh's Strip District, and now has 39 locations across 6 states. For my first ever outing to a Primanti Brothers restaurant, I chose to visit the Washington, PA location near The Meadows Racetrack & Casino around 3PM on a Sunday.I was seated at one of the high top tables in the bar area where I could see many big screen TVs overhead each tuned to a different sporting event. Robert provided me with good service. I got a Two Hearted Ale ($6) from Bell's Brewery on draft and a Tall Boy - PB Reuben ($10.49) sandwich. This sandwich was huge, and served to me with a steak knife sticking out the middle of it. The Primanti Brothers sandwiches are unique in that they put the french fries as a topping inside of them. The first thing I did was take the provided knife and cut the sandwich right down the middle. I was only able to finish one half of it, and took the rest in a container with me to go.

If you are looking for a good lunch spot or a place to watch the game try it. Each booth has its own tv. Big Bar area and pleny of big screens. The menu is the norm for a sports bar with all your Pittsburgh cuisine. Try the Periogi app. The homemade potatoe chips are very goodAll of the portions are large and tastey.
