We were spoiled for choice on this menu! Lots of attractive combinations, including vegan options, served beautifully, in the same price range as standard pub grub. We ate and drank very well indeed. I recommend the quail. Itâs got flat access and space between tables, making it easy for a wheelchair user.

We round this through recommendations on a Hayle Facebook page, absolute gem food was amazing! We come to Hayle every year on our holidays and will definitely be back next year. I had the lasagne & my partner had the Cajun chicken burger. Both to die for and massive portions. Couldnât finish mine. Staff are lovely. Thanks Turnpike Inn

A friendly service within Camborne town centre. A vast menu with a good selection of FRESH, LOCALLY SOURCED PRODUCE. Meals are cooked to order and the majority of our dishes are homemade. We serve food all day, from a hearty cooked breakfast from 8am righ
Seated ourselves as restaurant was mostly empty and a waiter was serving another table. Waited for someone to take our drinks order, that didn't happen, so ordered drinks at the bar. Nobody came to take our food order either, but the waiter was seen taking other tables orders. Other tables served before us, even though their orders were taken after ours. Food arrived after quite a wait. Mains were quite nice, sides were rather sad : limp, tasteless veg, very oily chips and onion rings. Waiter didn't come and check and we were only asked how things were when paying the bill at the bar as nobody came to ask if we wanted further drinks or the bill.So sorry for your unfortunate experience, I feel quite disappointed that you were not given the service that we usually pride ourselves on. Hopefully you will come again and you will have a much happier experience. If you do come again and you are not happy then please do not hesitate to come and see the Duty Manager to voice your grievance. Again, please accept our sincere apologies, and in the mean time, if you have anything further to add, please call us on 01029 612424. Kind regards, Dave, Duty Manager

We arrived and was greeted by a lovely waitress Rachel. She was very attentive throughout our whole morning. The cooked breakfast was really fresh and there was a great selection. Olivia, who I believe was the manager was great aswell.Highly recommended a visit here. Great value for money.

This is a lovely pub with delightful garden but that is the only plus side. The landlord and his staff are clearly in the wrong profession and are in desperate need of some hospitality training!!!!!

Personally wouldn't book a table for this place as it's not somewhere you'd want to sit and have a family meal. Bad service.Really bad organisationSeemed like the staff couldnt handle the workload and were a bit miserable.Poorly cooked food. Will not be returning.Hi there Aimee. Thank you for taking the time to leave us your feedback. Iâm terribly sorry to hear that your meal with us wasnât up to the expectations that we strive to achieve with every customers visit. I am sad to hear that we have lost your custom but will do my best in personally seeing to where we went wrong during your visit with us. I really do hope that you may give us another chance one day. The Old Shire Inn offers a wide variety of fresh seasonal dishes, from light salads in the Summer to hearty stews to keep you warm in Winter. Our carvery is served every evening, as well as Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday lunch times. With its cosy, friendly
We arrived and the restaurant was virtually deserted. On the outside the establishment looks quite impressive and given the style (and value) of cars in the car park, we thought we had arrived at a decent place. However, this is not somewhere I would recommend to eat in unless you have the carvery which they seem to do quite well. Our drinks took nearly 25 minutes to arrive despite there being only one customer at the bar, the food was so hot we had to wait another 15 minutes just for it to become barely palatable, and when I could manage a mouthful it was like rubber. A complaint was put in to the waitress, but all she did was just laugh!!! We pushed things further with management who did reduce the bill but if more care and attention had been made in the first place then they wouldn't have needed to make a refund and this would have been a better review.

The St Aubyn Arms is a modern day Country pub that was refurbished in 2011 giving it a fresh & bright feeling, yet still full of Cornish character. Our bar is always fully stocked of wines and beers from around the world. We pride ourselves on our 4 real
We have been here before and are never disappointed, two evening meals and a Sunday Lunch this time. The food and service is excellent and reasonably priced, much better value for money and quality than the Clowance Restaurant. A great selection of Real Ales, 4 different ones available with two I had not tried before. We cannot recommend St Aubyn's Arms highly enough and will be coming again.

Tucked away in the old quarter of Penzance, The Cornish Barn is a rustic restaurant, bar and smokehouse in Penzance serving a wholesome menu with a focus on fresh Cornish produce â all helped along by craft beers and wines from local independent vineyards
We had drinks here one night, and came back the next night for dinner. We loved the warm, cosy decor, good choice of drinks and pretty good food. The only thing that wasnât great was the service; a lot of errors both times, the staff were friendly but lacked professionalism. They forgot to bring menus and to seat us in the restaurant until well after the reservation time, and every drinks order was messed up. All in all, however, we forgave the slapdash service because the ambiance and food made up for it. We would go again if we were in the area.Good evening honeyHenleyonThames,Thank you for your time writing this review.I am happy to hear that you loved the atmosphere of the Restaurant, and I will be sure to pass on your comments about the food on to the kitchen.I am sorry that the service was not to the standards that you wanted. Please feel free to contact the management team via phone or by emailing us at [email protected] to provide some extra information, so that we can work to insure that this does not happen again. We appreciate all feedback to help our eccentric charmed slice of Penzance grow.Kind RegardsRyanDuty manager
