It is situated on the confluence of the Arlanzón river tributaries, at the edge of the Iberian central plateau. We ended up here as the whole city's restaurants were fully packed, and we were lucky to find this place. We had some of the best burgers we've ever had, served with a big smile, at a very affordable price. We would definitely come back if we come back to Burgos. Thanks!!

We saw this bar on a programme on Spanish TV and were so impressed we decided to visit when we were in Burgos for the weekend. It's a very pretty space, with large climbing plants dominate the skylight-lit centre of the long, narrow-ish bar/restaurant area as soon as you walk in. The staff are friendly and helpful as they can be given how busy they are. The main attraction is the selection of delicious pinchos that, allow with the wine, is very modestly priced. All good. The bar is located in a cul-de-sac in the old centre of the twon, very close to many other bars but not somewhere that people will pass by, so you tend to get only people who know about it and appreciate it. It all makes for a relaxed and friendly atmosphere.

Think no further, this is the place you want to head to while visiting Burgos... at least if you like mussels. They serve them in a variety of ways and they are absolutely delicious. Go for the ones with a "taste of the sea". I'd go back!

Down a small side street in the historic town we came across this restaurant/tapas bar which looked inviting. We sat at the bar which is the perfect place to see the variety of tapas spread out before you behind a glass partition. After ordering beers, we picked out various tapas by pointing at them (as we did not know their names) and this was actually the perfect way to order. Prices were reasonable and the server behind the counter was friendly and pleasant. Recommended!

I called in this morning. A very pleasent long bar. Able to see kit hen behind.Comfortable to sit on stools by the window. The quality of the food was very good. However, the coffee could have been much hotter.I enjoyed the tortilla, and traditional blood and rice sausage.Great selection of fresh tapas.

We stopped here on our rest day from doing the Camino for a light lunch of beers and tapas! The tapas were delicious and a little different. We had the potatoes with special sauce which was Roquefort based; yum! The Thai duck with mango sauce was really nice too as were the spring vegetables ! I would highly recommend this establishment ! It is very clean and had music from the 80s playing in the background . The waiter was also very friendly!

This lively tapas bar was recommended to us - and the large number of diners in the place reinforced the idea it was as popular as anywhere to lunch in Burgos. I had the fish soup, which was recommended by the waiter. It was good, and sustaining, though I was a bit miffed they charged extra for the bread. In retrospect though I wish I had picked from the list of tapas/raciones, as there were lots of interesting options on offer. One of our party did so and was very pleased with his selections. Prices perhaps a tad on the high side.

Enjoy the best selection of vermouth and tapas in town, with care for the quality and presentation of the best raw materials, not to mention our illy coffee and our homemade pies
It was our day off from walking the Camino and we chances upon this gem! I havenât had vermouth in at least 20 years, so I was pleasantly surprised by the on tap vermouth! The tapas were probably the best weâve had so far in Spain ! The pulpo (octopus) was delicious as were the pickled mussels with anchovies and other seafood; the olives and peppers; the tortillas and bocadillos! So much so, that we went back for more vermouth ! I then knew why the siesta is a necessity ! Itâs not a tourist place either as there were many local families there too! Highly recommended!

We ended up having two leisurely dinners here during our stay in lovely Burgos, once outside while the sun shone one evening and one in a cosy corner when the wind was blowing off the snow. The staff are friendly, and put up with our limited Spanish graciously. The tapas are very good, particularly the salmon, avocado and tomato stack, the duck 'sausage roll', the octopus and potato and the mini burgers. Drinks are cheap, and there's a good mix of pilgrims and locals filling the place every evening.
