Had food and drinks in this place a few weeks ago. We drank and ate at the bar partly because we weren't going to eat initially but the smell and look of the food coming from the kitchen made us then want to eat - glad we did. The food was freshly made and one of the best value meals we had whilst on an extended visit to the US. There was a singer on out back too which sounded quite entertaining although the wife wouldn't go and watch him he sounded decent anyway - I believe he's a regular. The drinks were great although with it being so popular it was a bit of a struggle on occasion to get the bar staffs attention. I'd definitely recommend this place but probably best off booking given how busy it can get.

4 of us had dinner, the waiter and service staff was excellent but everything was very overpriced. Basic cocktails and wine by the glass were in the mid-teens and fish entrees without much for sides were mid-thirtyâs. You would have had to really knocked my socks off with the entrees and unfortunately the salmon special we had was baked dry and not very good. Tough to even consider going back knowing that every item appeared expensive and what we had did not meet expectations!

Our power has been out for days so on Saturday night we went to KOP to get some warmth and food. We quickly realized that many, many people had the same idea and the wait times were hours long EVERYWHERE. So we went to Open Table and found Taphouse 23. The reviews looked decent so we figured we would give it a try. We would not recommend it and will not return. Hereâs why:The hostess stand needs a lot of work. No one ever seems to be standing there....except for unattended customers. Everyone seems confused. Patrons are often standing around wondering where the hostesses are and what the protocol is. There was a 3-top in line ahead of us and they were told there would be a 40 minute wait because they just got slammed with large parties and needed some time because they were just sitting tables whose reservations were actually supposed to be seated a while ago. (This is not your guestsâ problem and you shouldnât be sharing it with them). So the table agreed to wait for a little bit. We were seated and already ordered and we saw them leaving because they were never seated. I donât understand the reason for this. It really wasnât that busy. Only a handful of tables even came in to be seated after us. That was lost business. I asked for a straw for my ice water. She brought me an unwrapped straw with her bare hands. Oh my. I prefer my straws without extra germs so Iâm good. Thanks anyway. When we looked at the menu online to see if we would like anything we saw that they had a crab cake sandwich. I noticed when we actually showed up that there were NO sandwiches available with the exception of burgers. They have an extremely limited menu. I asked about the crab cake sandwich that I saw on the online dinner menu. She told me that itâs only on the lunch menu and normally they would make it for me anyway but it was so busy so she didnât think they could. She looked literally scared to ask the manager. My fiancé told her we would ask her and to send her over. She said she would go ask. She returned and told us she would ask the other manager. She returned again and said they would make it for me but they would have to charge us the $24 crab cake entree price. What?!?! Talk about taking total advantage of your customers. You make burgers. You have a crab cake entree. How hard is it to make a burger with a crab cake patty instead of a beef patty?!?! Especially since it is on your online dinner menu AND your actual menu says âif you donât see what youâre looking for on the menu, please ask your server.â But you are trying to rip me off instead. Disappointing. I got fish tacos instead. I went to the bathroom to wash my hands. There was no soap on my side. The woman to my left told me I could use the soap on her side. Then she told me if I needed to use the restroom to make sure to use the one stall versus the other because that one didnât have toilet paper. I thanked her and went to dry my hands but there were no paper towels. We are batting a thousand here. I asked for a wedge salad without bacon as an appetizer. It arrived (much, much later than it should have) with bacon and had to be sent back. My fiancé had his salad but no utensils. When the manager brought the wedge back without bacon he realized we didnât have utensils and seemed annoyed by that fact. He brought us utensils and napkins and got my fiancé another beer to make up for it. We appreciated that. Someone else brought our entrees while we were still eating our salads...this is such a pet peeve of mine. My fish tacos had fries which was odd. They were ok. Nothing I would recommend or ever desire to eat again. Definitely a far cry from the best fish tacos Iâve ever had. My fiancé had a burger. Itâs harder to disappoint him. He made a face and said it was horrible; dry, overcooked and flavorless. Neither of us finished our fries because they werenât very good. They tasted kind of freezer burned. Our server stopped by at one point and asked if everything was ok and that was it. If we needed anything beyond that one opportunity, we werenât getting it, I can assure you of that. We sat there with dirty plates and unfilled water glasses for the duration of our meal Our appetizer plates sat on our table until our entire meal was over and then a bus person came out and took everything away. Our bill was $54 for two salads, fish tacos, a burger and one beer. How?! Why? It was mediocre food at best and mediocre service. There were lots of tvs around. There was live music. There are two floors. It has potential but they are really blowing it.We were seated near the door so I was freezing the majority of the time. When we are here because thereâs no power at our house, Iâm not trying to freeze by the door and be ripped off for a crab cake sandwich. I understand that they were busier than usual because of all of the power outages. With the type of experience they were offering, they really missed an opportunity to create a lot of return customers.

The positives 1. some of the rooms are cozy and attractively decorated 2. The restroom was clean. The negatives 1 Ridiculously slow service. 2. Ridiculously forgetful service - one person in our party of four needed to remind our waiter 3 or 4 times to bring her water. 3 Ridiculously bland and boring entrees. We won't be returning.

Three different BBQ sandwiches and all were tasty. Basic sandwich comes with chips and a pickle wedge. Sandwich sizes are BIG. Everyone left full. I really enjoyed my pork sandwich with the mild sauce. It had nice vinegar and honey flavor. I had a bite of the brisket burger (its ground brisket) and it tasted very fresh. The place looks like it might be nice on a music night. Server was friendly and the place had what appeared to be lots of locals/regulars on a Friday lunch.

The StoneRose Restaurant strives to be Conshohocken's destination for inspired cuisine focusing on the bounty of quality seasonal ingredients right from our backyard in southeastern Pennsylvania. In addition to our lunch and dinner menus, we offer a beer
The menu is unique, and all the foods we tried were super good. There is a nice wine list, and the servers were excellent. We were glad to have been given an outside table, as the restaurant itself was SO loud with customers and no good autistics that we would not have been able to eat inside. The inside would be great for a squabbling couple, as you couldnât hear what your partner was saying. Thank you for your review. We hope you'll join us again soon! Cheers!

We arrived around 7:30pm on a Saturday evening. The place was fairly empty. When we asked around we'd heard the restaurant does a fair amount of hotel business during the week with the hotel in walking distance. We decided to eat dinner @ the bar. I wouldn't call the bar area an actual bar... it's more like a counter eating area in a round. All of the alcohol is kept under the bar, and the atmosphere and ambiance weren't very inviting or intimate as some of the other nicer restaurants in the area. Overall the food wasn't anything special. The Instagram pics and website pics are nice, but the actual plating was quite different. The restaurant isn't very vegan friendly, which is okay, just something to note if you're vegan. All in all it was an okay experience. I wouldn't rush back.

Our new brewpub in bridgeport features a full food menu with items made fresh from scratch daily and a 3 bbl small batch brewing system to turn out plenty of creative brews!
satellite location for the smaller main conshi brew co in a retrofitted former warehouse. has a loft kinda feel with exposed brick and wood. Dinning experience was not so great, seems most are there to enjoy food with drink, hence they don't notice the missing flavor. We ordered wings, a sandwich and entree salad. The wings were cooked through but the skin not really crispy the way I like 'em. The salad was extra large with a large portion grilled chicken sat on top. The brisket sandwich was really large and easily shared by two. The meat was decent but not really as tender as I'd for and much better at a bbq place closer to the mall. Service was horrid with waitress barely interested in the course of our evening and as usual, no where to be found for drink refills (because they were non-alcoholic?) and when we needed the check. I rate average for a brew-pub and that's far below a level at which I'd return again in the future.
