Chef Ted Mahoney has developed an extensive, eclectic menu to suit the tastes of discerning diners, with an emphasis on fresh, local seafood.
September is here and the crowds are off the Cape so it is a great time to eat out. We had a great meal and the service was great. What I also liked was there wasnât a long wait. The prices could be a couple dollars less however it was worth it. I split a good salad and the warm bread was a treat.

We finally made it to this popular stop in Orleans and we werenât disappointed. Great menu; many very interesting and different choices, on top of a solid list of standard options and wood fired pizza. We tried a cod dinner over risotto and the special surf and turf option: A delicious cod fish cake and a really special chicken sausage grinder with roasted peppers, caramelized onions, and blue cheese. Really, both were exceptional! We will absolutely return but all the stories were right. VERY crowded. Try to get there early and you will have a very enjoyable mid range experience.

The food was spot on at this restaurant! We ate in one evening, and ordered out the next time. The service is less than grand - servers on cell phones, not very kind, and rather rude. When we entered the place, we were abruptly informed we could not order fried foods, and that we were not allowed to sit in a specific area. Ordering was a chore as the waitress didnât really seem to enjoy being there. Otherwise the restaurant is very nice - food was absolutely delicious! Simply delicious! If they could somehow get the rest of their staff to focus on customer service, they may get me back inside!

The menu is varied and enticing; it was hard to choose, which is not often the case with me. There are many sea-food choices, but also plenty for those who prefer something else. Our server was so sweet and helpful, and our drinks and food arrived quickly. The prices are super reasonable and you get a lot of food for the money. Oh, and the Margaritas are perfect-served in a 12 oz. glass (I'm guessing, but huge). Give this place a try-you won't be disappointed. I will definitely return.

The restaurant is very popular and a number of people rave about it, but we thought it was pretty average. Itâs not the old-fashioned decor, which is actually very in keeping with the neighbourhood. Itâs the unimaginative food that is average in execution. Choices are limited and donât really feel like they r fleet very many local ingredients and itâs all quite old fashioned cooking.

Located in the comfortable and elegant golf clubhouse at The Villages at Ocean Edge, stop here for indoor or alfresco dining overlooking the 1st tee. The Linx gets it just right with creative cocktails, fresh salads and grilled entrees including local sea
Tavern style food....burgers, nice salads, sandwiches and hearty chili! And, the sweetest staff of imported students and young professionals (on work visas) for the summer whom are always a delight! Not sure if they still have entertainment but they used to...check it out online at the Ocean Edge site. You do NOT need to be a Golf Club member to enjoy! AND, because itâs a bit off the beaten path a great place to try in season when so many Main Street restaurants are booked. Thank you for taking the time to tell us about your recent dining experience at Linx Tavern. I am so pleased to hear you enjoyed the atmosphere, your meals, and the level of service you received from our staff. I will be sure to pass along you kind words. Thank you again. We enjoyed our experience at Bayzo mostly we enjoyed our bartender Jeff who was chatty, friendly and funny. The Steak Pizza we had was good, but I wasn't expecting it to have tomato sauce. The Yardarm Restaurant is a small place with a big imprint. In the last decades we've prided ourselves on being the go-to meeting spot for locals in Orleans. On any given day, you'll find townsfolk like fisherman, physicians and plumbers all sharing stori
Love this place for lunch so went for dinner Thursday night Prime Rib. Two couples, our waitress came and seemed angry. I asked about a beer they had on draft and she said, "I have NO idea!, I don't drink beer!!!" OK. My friend asked about getting the prime rib rare, and she said, " We have 3 cooking", and never answered his question. Our dinners a came and the prime rib was so tough I couldn't eat mine, and the taste was terrible. Our waitress had a bad attitude, just mean. Won't ever go back at night for dinner there.Thank you for your review. I am so sorry that your group had this experience. It is not acceptable to us and has and will continue to be addressed with all our staff. Normally, I would suggest that you let your Server know if your meal is not to your liking so that we may correct it; however, it is obvious that this was not possible this particular night. I am sorry that I was not there at the time. Our primary goal is to have happy/satisfied customers so I hope that you will give us another chance by coming back in for either lunch or dinner. I hope to meet you personally.

Been passing this place for ten years and finally decided to try it. We were not impressed. The menu had a little of everything on it, and we tried a variety of different things. None of them were very good. The interior is dark and dated, and service was very average. There are too many good places around to go here, sorry.Sorry you were not impressed. We always wish for our customers to have a great experience, and most of them do. If you would like to contact me further about what meals you had, I would be happy to discuss any issues that came up. [email protected] Have a good summer!
