We stopped in for a mothers day late lunch. They were not busy, with only 2 other family's. My husband and I ordered the salmon and my daughter the avocado chicken sandwich and fried mozzarella sticks as an appetizer. The appetizer was so fried, there was hardly any cheese left. When waitresses brought is our food, my husband mashed potatoes were falling off the side and she said she almost dropped the plate, so everything almost fell off. The salmon and the mashed potatoes were cold. When my daughter got to the middle of her sandwich, it was full of fat to the point she could not eat the rest. Never was asked or given any refils on our drinks, and we had to ask for silverware and napkins. As a local we try to support our town, but we will never eat here again! Very disappointed!

We should have known that a sports bar would not know how to do a St. Patrick's Day dinner. The food was cold, the corned beef was tough, the potatoes were not cooked and the cabbage was like leather. You have to cook corned beef for a long time before it is tender. You don't serve it cut into chunks. You slice it thin and cut against the grain like you do any roast. The portion I got was mostly fat which should have been trimmed off before serving. Should have sent it back.
I've been twice, and going again Friday. It's really good! The first visit wasn't perfect but they had just opened, and you have to give them a little time to get it all right! We've tried the pretzels and the chips with bacon blue cheese sauce. Really good! Last week I met friends for lunch there. They shared stuffed mushrooms for a starter. I had a hot dog with beer cheese and bacon, with mac n cheese. The mac n cheese could be a whole meal - very filling and a large portion for a side! The sweet potato tots are delicious! One of my friends had a burger and said it was wonderful. My other friend had chicken tenders because they were out of fish and chips. She enjoyed them, as well. I love the $2.50 sample size glasses of beer so you can try new ones! Great place and we'll be back often!

Located behind the WAHO - this bar looking place has great food. I had the pork chop and 2 of them were served and they were fantastic, thick and perfectly cooked. A wide assortment on the menu makes it easy for everyone to find something. It can be a rougher crowd, or it can be full of folks from Chateau Elan. Great people watching always.

Jack's Restaurant and Bar is a great place for good food and outstanding service. My wife and I tripadvisored from the close Hampton Inn where we were staying after my return from a middle eastern deployment to Jack's into a great food experience. Jacks reminds me of a local "Cheers" type place were all are welcome for food and drink. Our waitress Paige was superb from greeting us to saying goodbye upon our departure. Our food portions were large, tasteful and not expensive for such good food as a tender steaks, varied salads, breads and fried mushrooms. We were never without any items as Paige was very attentive and loves taking good care of her customers while they dine at Jacks. All in all a great restaurant with superb staff and good food, definite for repeat business from this family, well done Jacks and Ms. Paige!

We went to the restaurant on mother's day and had a reservation. We were seated within 5 minutes of our reservation time. The buffet which was only 27 dollars, I did not expect a lot, but was fooled, what a GREAT time. The buffet had breakfast, lunch and dinner. The carving station had some great meats, the shrimp were large and fruit plentiful. Service was great. Look forward to their next buffet.

This is definitely a hidden gem!! We ordered the shrimp and lobster dip for an appetizer and it was AMAZING!! My husband got the California fish taco and I got the shrimp and grits. Both were very yummy (mine had cold grits...not sure if thatâs how itâs spose to come out or not). I had a Rhum runner drink and it was the best I ever had!!! Server was super sweet and attentive. My husband says he recommends the blue cheese dip with the homemade chips! We will definitely be going back again!

Food was excellent as was the service given us by Mackenzie. Sequencing was a little off which should not happen at a fine dining restaurant. Not sure if it was the kitchen or just not enough servers and runners, Lobster Bisque was very flavorful and had a lot of lobster claw meat in it. Problem was lobster meat was cold after the poured the hot bisque over it and the pieces were too large to be in a soup. Have you ever tried to cut something in a soup bowl? That being said, the bisque was excellent. Caesar salad OK. Filet was wonderful with the blue cheese over it.

Wow! My veggie burger was amazing. Who would have thought. Everyone in our group loved their food. No food left on our plates when we left. The service is outstanding. Teresa, our server, was remarkable! She remembered our group from our visit last year. She handled our group of 16 like we were the only ones thereâand clearly we were not since Paddy's was pretty much full. Teresa was friendly and playful and she was very efficient as well. She handled our group and our orders/requests like a pro. She was quick and each request was filled fast. I found myself in awe of her truly enjoying what she was doing and the people she was serving.

This restaurant was available to us via shuttle from the inn at Chateau Elan. Very convenient. The food was very good, especially the blue cheese chips, which can easily be over the top salty. These were perfect. I had their burger, on a recommendation from others. It did not disappoint. Very simple, but flavorful and juicy. It had been prepared with care and not allowed to sit. I had it cooked medium, and the quality of the beef was evident in the flavor. My wife had the quesadillas, which was a shareable serving, and enjoyed them. The servings are ample to large; come hungry or take some back with you. I look forward to dining here again.
