This is a relatively new Beer Pub that was opened in June 2011. My wife and I had lunch there and want to recommend it to others
On our way to farmers market we happened to see this place and after shopping at the market walked over for a quick drink. The place looked busy but we were told by a waitress walking by that there was more seating outside. It was perfect. Sat creekside, enjoyed an ice cold delicious beer on a nice sunny day. Great find!

Eat.Drink.Repeat...At Benicia's premier local's hangout! We take a fresh spin on your favorite hearty sports pub fare by preparing from scratch with locally sourced ingredients whenever possible- including from our own Rookies Organic Garden.
My wife and I have stopped at Rookies several times when we've been in downtown Benicia to catch one of the amazing sunsets. Inside Rookies is a well-laid out sport-bar with an impressively large number of TV's tuned to every sporing event currently underway. We generally opt to sit outside to enjoy a burger and a beer and watch the people strolling on 1st street. On our most recent stop, our server, Ashley was fantastic - the beer was cold and the burgers, as always, were excellent. Here's a tip for the non-locals - after dinner, walk a few yards down 1st Street, turn right and walk out to a wonderful bench overlooking the Carquinez Bridge. Fabulous sunsets with a few marine props in the foreground to enhance the view.

This compact little wine bar is squeezed into a long, narrow space fronting on First Street. There is some sidewalk seating, but even that is quite limited. The net effect is to make The Chill cozy-friendly, the sort of place youâd go for a glass of wine or a beer and maybe watch a game on the flat screen. Itâs especially nice if you can score al fresco seating on a mild, not-too-breezy evening or late afternoon (opens 4 pm). We had after dinner drinks at The Chill while a Warriors-Cavs playoff game was underway, so I can personally attest that the place can get very crowded and noisy at times. Beer drinker addendum: They only have three beers on tap here â Guinness and two others I canât remember.Restroom alert: The Chill is way too small to accommodate restrooms on the premises, but donât despair. Clean restrooms used by this and some other establishments are located out back. Before you go, ask for the four-digit code youâll need for the keypad.
We go for taco Tuesday. Most places have a happy hour with their taco Tuesday, they don't Prices aren't bad, but the service it terrible. They take forever to take your order, forever for it to come out, they almost never come around and see if you want more food or drinks and have to wait forever for your tab. In fact, you pretty much have to go to the bar to pay your tab. SLOW service.

The Loft Wine Bar & Restaurant - Cocktails - Restaurant - Wine Shop. We are a Full Service Restaurant and Full Bar featuring local Napa & Sonoma wines not widely available. All wines are also available for retail purchase. Families welcome, and well-behav
Nice local spot whether you're a couple out on a date night, friends catching up,or a single wanting a cozy spot to read or write your latest novel; The Loft Wine Bar is a good choice. There's a good wine list and eclectic menu. You can sit at the bar, community table or the cushy leather chairs in the corner. On a nice day there's patio seating which at the right time of day you can catch a beautiful sunset. Jason (the owner) when onsite creates a very welcoming atmosphere. He's very understandably proud of the restroom. When you go have a glass of the Zinfandel (bottled in Calistoga) and the Flatbread

Don't miss eating here! Excellent food. We chose to eat outside as it was a lovely evening and the inside space seemed dark. The food did not disappoint. We chose an Italian dish that was outstanding and creme brulee was terrific!

Upscale seafood focused restaurant housed in one of Benicia's most historic buildings steps away from the Carquinez Straight, with dramatic bay views.
Iâve been coming to Benicia for breakfast for the past several months but this was the first time here for breakfast. By far the best selection of items and best fried potatoes. Breakfast is only served Friday thru Sunday from 9:00 until 2:00. Otherwise, this is also a great lunch and dinner place 7 days a week. This is my new breakfast place in Benicia for the weekends.

Great place too go after work on a Thursday. They have music. The band is usually pretty good. Variety week to week. One of our favorite hangouts.
