No matter what you choose from the menu, your dinner will be delicious. I had the 16oz. ribeye. It was smothered in carmelized onions and mushrooms. It was perfectly cooked to my liking. The steak, partnered with a salad and baked potato, made a great meal. My wife had the smoked salmon carbonara with a white cream sauce. It, too, was scrumptious. We did have dessert. We both had the coconut cream pie to top off the evening. This is our favorite restaurant and, believe me, every meal weâve had over the years has been excellent.

This was a new place for us. We decided on The Fairport because of the online reviews. I was really disappointed. I ordered the Daily Special, Grilled Chicken Breast with sauteed veggies in a garlic sauce. The waitress described the veggies as Spinach, Squash, Portobello Mushroom, Onion, and Peppers. What arrived was a dry, unseasoned flattop grilled very thing chicken breast, and steamed spinach and pimento peppers, with what looked like an entire head of minced garlic. The Mushroom was just foul...I nearly choked on it. I also ordered the Mushroom soup, one of my favorites. The first bite was absolutely delicious! But the further into the bowl I got, the saltier and saltier it became. There was so much salt in it that the back of my throat started burning. Needless to say, I didn't eat very much of anything. My SO ordered the "Black Tie Chicken Pasta." It was delicious. The seasoning was just right, and the Alfredo Sauce was very creamy and rich. For Dessert, I originally ordered an alcoholic "Rootbeer Float" and my SO ordered the Apple Struedel. 10 minutes later the waitress came back and said they didn't have that anymore. I asked if they had Ice Cream...no. Ok, so I then ordered a coffee with Bailey's Irish Cream. 10 to 15 minutes later the Struedel was delivered. Only problem, it was unbaked...as in RAW in the middle. Another 10 minutes later, my drink was delivered...only the order was wrong! She brought me and Irish Coffee. I drank it instead of complaining since I didn't know how long it would take for her to even come back to our table to check on us. I did ask for some cream and she gave me the strangest look, and took a long time bringing that to me.Although we were greeted in a friendly and welcoming manner, and seated quickly, the waitress was awful. I'm giving her the benefit of the doubt that perhaps she was new and just just learning. Although this experience was incredibly bad, we will give them another chance and try again at another time.

Waitress was terrible. Waited so long for her to take our order and it was not busy. Food was cold when it finally arrived. She did not seem too concerned when we told her. Only came once to table after being served

Had the pleasure of going there again and had a great Brisket and slaw sandwich which was delicious. Slaw is made with sour cream instead of mayonnaise. That was delicious also. Fries that are dusted tasted great. Donât let the look of no windows scare you away from this place. Itâs great food there and there are lots of TVs there showing sporting events and they serve food til midnight. I did have their Grilled Cheese with Brisket last year and that was yummy. Would recommend without hesitation.
The Pier has been in Bridgewater for many years. New owners took possession of the bar/grill about one year ago. They remodeled everythings inside, including the menu! The sandwiches are to die for. The giant fish sandwich to the Pier club to their BLT are just a few of these exceptional sandwiches. They do a lot of take out business, especially on Friday nights with customers ordering their fish dinners and sandwiches. Please stop in a give them a try.........youâll love their food and return again and again!

Suggested by some friends who used to live nearby, this is definitely a local spot, but worth checking out. On the weekends I am told they generally have live music (although not the Saturday night I was there). This is also known as "Brixton Brewing" and they have a handful of craft beers made there which were pretty good. I preferred the "Johnathan" brew. I ordered a Rochester Chicken Sandwich and it was a grilled chicken with a buffalo-style sauce, and LOTS of blue cheese crumbles in it. Excellent. Someone also explained that they serve a Pittsburgh style salad which has french fries on it rather than croutons, so may have to check that out when I am in the area again. Prices were reasonable for the sandwich and 3 brews and left with a bill around $25.

I'm rating this as a bar, not as a restaurant. I took a colleague from work as a birthday celebration. Another employee joined us. They both are regulars and knew everybody. I think my experience was great because I went with others that were regulars. Someone got beaver chips, which are freshly made potato chips. They were very good. I ordered a Panini, I believe it was buffalo chicken. It was okay, too much bread and not much chicken. There was a pretty good beer selection from craft beer to Budweiser. The gin and tonic was a little light on gin. One of my colleagues mentioned to the bartender that there wasn't enough vodka in her vodka and tonic. I told him not to put that last splash of tonic in my drink. I don't remember if he responded to either of us.I'll visit alone and see how it goes. After all, I have to use the free drink chip someone gave me. I do like the way some buys you a drink. The bartender gives you a chip and you can use it anytime.

Iâm always looking for the best fish sandwich in Pittsburgh. On the recommendation of a friend my wife and I gave it a try. From the outside it doesnât look that great but inside is a very quaint and clean restaurant. A great looking old fashioned bar and a large selection of craft beers. The fish sandwich was huge! My wife ordered the small fish so I thought Iâd get the large. Mine came with two giant pieces of fish. I had fish left over for dinner that night and lunch the next day. This is truly worth a visit to have a great tasting fish sandwich.

It was a nice 72 degree day so my wife and I stopped by to have a beer outdoors after having lunch nearby. The outdoor area reminded me of walking into an outdoor bar in Ocean City MD. While the Beaver river will never be mistaken for the bays in Ocean City this place is really cool with all of the boats docked on the river. Will definitely be back next Spring/Summer to try the food.

We stopped here on the way home from Pittsburgh Airport and we were pleasantly surprised. Our server was very friendly and attentive, and our food was delicious. One in our party had the mushroom-swiss burger, which was cooked to perfection. Another had the Portobello burger, which was actually a giant Portobello mushroom grilled--excellent. Also, their spaghetti and meatballs were superb, with thick and tasty marinara sauce. All of this was with a view of the Beaver River! We will definitely return.
