The best local sports bar on the island seven screens for you to watch all your sports events in hd great local food great beer prices 4 banks beer for 5 us dollars. fantastic atmosphere. We open for all EPL GAMES NO MATTER WHAT TIMES THEY START!
Went to find Wendyâs so my husband could watch the champions league match the day after. Thankfully someone heard us on the bus where we wanted to go and told us where to get off which was great. As I had read previous reviews itâs not in the tourist area so keep with it if walking. Got there and we had a couple of banks beers and tried the lunch. It was very good, our first experience of true local food (arrived two days before) amazing and busy with locals. Unfortunately we never made it back for the football as it was just to hot on the day for me to get bus etc but when we are back in barbados we will def go back.

We visited twice. Once for lunch, once for dinner. We had coconut shrimp, pork belly, the flying fish sandwich and pizza. We loved it all.....the only downside being the sauce on the pizza was incredibly sweet. The frozen pina' coladas were amazing! It's right on the beach and the breeze and views were wonderful!

We had eaten here on previous visits and always found the service friendly and food ok. On this occasion we were not as impressed. We arrived at the same time as a few other tables and they didnât have enough menus to go around so we had to wait our turn to get them & then order. This wasnât a big deal as we werenât in any major rush and we got our drinks fast. The starters came out pretty quick as they are obviously pre prepared and heated up. The main dish I got was a piece of fish and mash potatoes. Again it was fine but quite simple food that you would make yourself not really restaurant style. The serving girls were pleasant and efficient but donât think we would bother making the trek up here again. Thanks guys for the review and sorry we didnât blow you away but yes we are simple home cooked food and we donât pretend to be anything other than that.... if you want fancy arty food there any many high end $200 places available on this beautiful island - as for the menu issue we only use 10 menus so that orders hit the kitchen in a steady fashion allowing freshly cooked meals to be produced efficiently - a shame you wonât be back

We went to The Mews for date night. Itâs a nice restaurant with a great ambience and excellent service. However, the food was mediocre in comparison to the price. My husband thought his dish was ok. Mine was overcooked and a small portion size.

Visited The Village Bar in Lemon Arbor for Pudding and Souse. It was a Saturday and it tends to get very busy quite early. We went with a large party of 12 people and they accommodate us. I recommend get there before noon on a Saturday.

Our cruise stopped in Barbados, and we informed our tour guide that we would like to have some authentic Caribbean style food for lunch. He took us to Sands Dunes and highly recommended the macaroni pie. It was outstanding. I also had grilled Mahi Mahi and a side of rice and peas. All of them were very good and the price was quite reasonable. I had a bottle of pineapple/guava punch flavored with real cane sugar and it was really SWEET! I loved it.The surroundings are very basic. A few tables inside and some picnic style benches outside. Our tour guide sat and had lunch with us and gave us some history since he was a lifelong Barbados resident. We highly recommend booking private tours when visiting these islands. The cost is not much more than a group tour and you can tailor the activities to meet your needs. The big tours would never stop at a small place like this due to the wait and their limited time. It's nice to really see what the locals do on a daily basis. If you have the opportunity, stop and have lunch and enjoy the casual surroundings. As an added plus, the restrooms were clean.

We are staying near Bathsheba at the Atlantis Hotel and it being the end of their annual cycle, they donât serve dinner. So we have had to get creative, since most places are the same. Dinaâs is no exception. At this time of year they focus on lunch for the locals. However, we dropped by the day before and pre-arranged to eat dinner, but only if we came by 4:30. It meant that they had to keep the kitchen open a little longer, which was nice of them. The food was fresh and pretty good. We both had mahi mahi, or dolphin fish (not the mammal). I had the jacket potato with cheese and mushroom. My wife had the fried potato wedges. Both choices were good. Our meal came with a green salad, but no bread. We washed it all down with Banks lager. We had our dinner under the shade of their small, open-walled tent with a nice breeze off the water and the sounds of the surf drowning out other tables conversations. We got lucky with the table that remained for us as it was upwind of a table of smokersâ a problem seldom encountered these days. A decent home style meal.

We had a nice lunch here that was reasonable value. When I previously visited a few years ago I remember the food being more impressive. Setting is still nice of course.
