I came for brunch few times. Here are some pros and cons. Pros: great food, excellent hostess, reasonable brunch menu and prices, various seating options, large food portions, full bar. Cons: while the hostess is great (and does a lot of work) the rest of the waiting staff is not nearly as good. In fact their bus boys do a better job than some of their waiters. Weekend Brunch is very busy and things fall in the cracks (unclean tables, stained glasses, overwhelmed waiters). Most of the issues can be fixed by further training the waiting staff on both skills and attitude. The hostess could do the training cause she is always on top of her game.

We have tried the George Martin Restaurant and found it to be excellent and figured we would give his burger place a try. We all ordered burgers, I had the patty melt with american cheese, carmelized onions and their special house sauce with a baked potato on the side. The "baked" potato was a bonus you don't find this too often in a burger place. The burger was cooked to my specification and the sauce made it really tasty. We also had the boneless chicken nuggets with barbecue and hot sauce and they were excellent. The venue was very clean and they had a very nice bar also. There is a outdoor dining area also. The service was spot on and they had a nice selection of craft beer, domestics and wine as well. We thoroughly enjoyed iy!

we had a fantastic meal tonight at RIVER MILL TAVERN for St Patricks Day. The service was on point; the food was TERRIFIC and our picky eaters did not materialize..... because everything we ordered was DELICIOUS!!we started with corn beef and cabbage egg rolls....which you must try.....there is still sunday to go eat there!!!!!!!then we ordered the shepherd's pie ****Delish!!*** the bangers colcannon......FABULOUS!!!! and the fish and chips.....light as a feather, delicate coating and crispy, tasty fries. we left stuffed (and took our leftovers for lunch tomorrow!!) and gladly go there again and again. don't miss the opportunity to eat here because you will be missing a terrific local restaurant which will restore your faith in eating at a well run establishment.

Kitty O'Hara's continues to get better and better: the food, the bar, the atmosphere. It's become for me what the pubs are in Ireland, a place of comfort and relaxation. It's got a lively, well tended bar with a friendly vibe, and the food is more than just pub grub. Delicious items include the flat iron steak and their broiled salmon. First off, service was fine and friendly. Restaurant week menu for all. Good way to test new places and fine new favs. Menu offerings described embellishments, cuts etc. that were not evident. Bread at table: slightly burnt popovers that appealed to some and not others. Dry toasted bread slices. Butter, maple butter, humus min rosettes were on a small plate. No butter knives provided. Appetizers:Split pea soup, salad, chili and shrimp tacos were good. But ordinary. No steak tips in chili, more like stewed. Mains:Jumbo shrimp w zucchini pasta, olives, capers, tomatoes, pino Grigio, basil was in fact large shrimp,mushy zucchini and tomatoes...basil and pg indiscernible.Steak frites w flat iron steak and truffle fries very good. Pork sugo with tagliatelle was good but again mushy. All ordered the George Martin sundae, which was as described. Very good.

Perfect lunch - absolutely fabulous Lobster, Mac & Cheese for me - Bacon Cheeseburger for my guest had us know we would be back again. Food was that good. Minor flaw, who charges $2.00 or for that matter any amount of money for club soda?Raise the price of the burger by $2.00 but don't charge for a glass of seltzer.Beyond that, pretty damn good.

Food is always good, well priced and fresh! The bar has great bartenders and drinks are made well, nothing fancy, again well priced!! Carlos , the manager is fabulous, Jeremy and his family as well !! You become a friend quickly and are greeted warmly ! It's a place where you can wear anything and feel comfortable , order at the bar and your food is delivered to you , freshly made ,and with a smile!!We go there frequently and often go after a day of working doing volunteer work on somebody's home.

My wife and I had used this location for casual dinners on many occasions.its current management has no sense of customer service. I took family visitors there for Sunday brunch and after being seated by the host was told a waiter would be right by. Nobody came althpugh several waiters and waitresss walked by, taking no notice of us. We finally left and I told the host why. All I got was a blank look. No apology. A manager was nowhere to be found.

Great local place on the water, hidden from any main drag in town. Food is good, great options of wing flavors and the tidbits are really yummy. Good selection of beers on tap and they have live music every Friday and Saturday nights, plus Sundays in the summer. The only drawback of the place is that they have a deck but can't use it, something about a town meeting and got the license revoked...it's a shame. Overall a really nice place for a casual bite to eat or a drink out with friends. Staff is friendly and overall pretty clean.
