Margaritaville has reopened under new ownership with a new 25 seat bar, service staff and menu. We offer fresh sustainable contemporary Mexican seafood in a first class casual environment with panoramic oceanviews.
I stopped in here today because the locals told me to experience this place. Tremendous food and drinks and service. My server, Lauren 622, was PERFECT!!!! She was super attentive, very quick at delivering either food or drinks, helped me make some culinary and alcohol decisions and had a super personality!!!! Lauren made my experience the best!!!! Thanks Lauren!!!!!!!!!! I had some guacamole and calamari to start my evening...both super choices...look at my pictures!!!! I then had the crab cocktail and it was super-superb!!!!!! I ended up with a house salad and it was great too. My wines were all endemic in the Santa Cruz area and were great and the two margaritas I had were so cool and easy to drink.... this place has plenty of ambiance and a great view of the water and birds. The manager, Alexid, stopped by to make sure my experience was great!!! That was very cool!!!! I love it when a manager sticks her head into the inner workings of her restaurant instead of just standing by passively!!!! Alexid was super too!!!.....everyone was just great to me!!!!......and I appreciate that!!! I would highly recommend this place to anyone traveling in the area!!!!! Thanks to all for a great time!!!!!!!

Went there in search of some early-afternoon food. Extensive selection of local wines and beers by the glass or tasting flights. Like the Tapas menu, these are a bit pricey. The big surprise was the best cup of coffee since Italy. Excellent server.

Off the highway with a round about way to get to, this restaurant is really worth the effort to find it. They serve Lunch and Dinner and have daily specials. Tuesday was Taco Tuesday and tacos were $3.00. There is also something going on Sundays for the football games.Ordered the chicken club which was served on a tortilla and it was delicious and HUGE. Could only eat half and had the other half for dinner. Hubby ordered the Reuben and he, too, could only eat half for lunch saving the other half for dinner.

I go there a few times a year and wanted to post another review, since it has been more than a full year. Burger is changing a bit with more food types, but there remains still a great emphasis on micro brew beers, and bartenders who really know their products and can suggest something to try that you will probably like, with a reasonable number of small free tastes available. The actual burgers at Burger do not seem as good as they used to be, and the famous sweet potato fry portions are shrinking. We spent $47 for two of the least expensive burgers and two beers, which allows for other dining options in the area. I give 3 stars for the food and 5 stars for the beer selection and service, averaging to 4 stars overall.

The day after Thanksgiving my family was ready for a burger 'n brew. They took me to a favorite new find and close by. I was surprised by the crowd inside...a popular spot. We sat in the bar so football could be watched. A good appetizer menu, including a small item which on our visit was a pork slider. The smoked salmon appetizer, very mild flavor, was generous enough to share. Noisy but comfortable atmosphere, friendly service, good beer choices. My family was happy and if they're happy, I'm happy.

Located on the water in Capitola Village, Paradise Beach Grille is the perfect place to enjoy lunch with a view or to finish a perfect day on the beach. We feature a contemporary menu with a Pacific Rim flare. Enjoy our famous Coconut Prawns appetizer, fo
Capitola by the Sea is beautiful but the restraurants tend to be touristy, especially on the Esplanade. Paradise is our go to place. Sit on the patio which over looks Soquel Creek and enjoy the view. The food is very good and the staff and manager are excellent. A glass of Proseco and the cheese plate is my favorite. Other favorites are the BLT and the French Onion Soup. If it is coolish they have nice patio heaters or there is a room with a fireplace in the back.

But, loud enough that we had to shout at each other. The food and service were good enough. But for me the atmosphere was just way too boisterous. Maybe sometime other than a Friday night would be a bit quieter.

This restaurant sits across the street from the beach. You would think that with that vantage point and little nearby competition, they would be pricey. We found it to be very unpretentious and fair priced, especially for the food. Being a popular family vacation area, we were sick of burgers and fries. The fish here is cooked to perfection. Vegetables are abundant. I felt more like we were eating California cuisine than most of the touristy spots closer to Santa Cruz. The menu is very diverse and they work with the neighboring restaurant if what you really want is pizza.Very relaxed atmosphere.

We had yet another new waitress, but the servers were very effective on a day with a full house, as they scanned the area constantly to see if anyone needed anything. Well Done! Happy hour specials are great bargains, and the plates are pretty big. They offer sample tastes of local craft beers to make sure that you are not surprised with something that you do not really like.

Location is small and tucked away from main streets. Went there after local golfing on a Sunday. After seeing their reviews, I got to try their famous BBQ Brisket sandwich with spicy BBQ sauce, and it was excellent. If you are hungry, go for the 3 meats plate. Place could draw more customers if it was larger. A small live band playing was a nice touch. If I am around Aptos, I will definitely return here!
