The last time we visited this restaurant we really liked it and it is obviously very popular judging by the cars in the parking lot. The staff is friendly and efficient. Seating is adequate and the restaurant has a semi-modern vibe. As for the food we really enjoyed the appetizers, yet the prime rib weekend special was a bit of a disappointment with 25% fat content and the fact that it came out medium well, rather than medium. Also I regretted ordering the rice pilaf which for some reason was so crunchy I ordered a side of gravy, so it made the rice barely edible.Wife enjoyed the Pizza, Samantha felt the meal was as average....Whereas Bradley's medium well burger came out as crisp as charcoal. Overall a bit of a miss really, maybe we should skip it next time.

We were driving around the Allentown area looking for a few businesses and I remembered researching a hotel in Bethlehem months ago that seemed to have a good restaurant. So we stopped in for lunch and were pleasantly surprised. We each had a cup of the ham and lentil soup which was delicious, if not a little too salty for our tastes (but nothing like the obligatory over-salting of many PA restaurants.) We also had a Nicoise salad with grilled salmon and a crab cake sandwich. The dressing on the salad was perfect, just right - not over-powering so you could actually taste the salad rather than just crunchy salad dressing - as is also common in PA. The sandwich was also tasty. At the end we decided to try the Penn State creamery ice cream . It was just as we like it - with less butterfat than "premium" ice cream like B&Js. The flavors chocolate chip cookie dough, mint chocolate chip and putter pecan were excellent. Finally, I had a Provence Rose that was outstanding. There is a parking garage two blocks away, and the atmosphere of the old hotel was somewhat formal, yet casual too.

I moved to Bethlehem 9 months ago and this is my go-to place. The food is great, Try the Cottage Pie and they have best wings in town. The staff behind the bar will give you a nice explanation of the wall of whiskey and suggest a drink that will go with your food. Even the soups are great. Staff is friendly and helpful. Bethlehem has a lot of great food from around the world. Start your world tour at the Red Stag Pub, you will be happy that you did!

With a true love for Southern and Cajun style foods Grumpy's has developed a menu through experience that expresses the flavor and cooking styles of New Orleans, Saint Louis, the Carolinas, and the Tex-Mex area.
Tried it for the very first time because spouse had raved about it.... Wow!!! Wonderful place. Delicious bbq brisket platter with two sides ($13.95.) I chose fried okra and collard greens - both were perfect accompaniments. Spouse had 1/2 rack of bbq ribs with cole slaw and sweet potato fries ($15.95) and loved that as well. Sure wish we lived closer to this great place. All the staff was very helpful and friendly, and the happy hour draft beer price was amazing ($2!) Perfect bbq atmosphere inside, too. Can't wait to return!!!

Business appears to be booming even after 88 years. Good prices, friendly service. My stepson loved the split pea soup and our BLTs and fish sandwich were all very satisfactory. Two of us had the pie of the day, a blueberry crumble. It was fine but nothing to write home about. I would definitely go back if I were in the area. Clean, nice bathrooms.

I don't go here often because it is one of the pricier restaurants in town, but the views are terrific and the bar scene is lively with friendly bartenders. A welcoming approach to old-world hospitality with an urban vibe and new- world flair. The Hamilton Kitchen & Bar will take you back to the days of the public house, where both locals and visitors gathered for a heartwarming, good meal, great conversation
I ate there with family today, 7 adults and 1 child. Waitress was not very friendly, helpful or well trained. No childrenâs menu yet lots of high chairs. No suggestions as to what the chef might be able to serve a child. A brunch egg dish was served with no butter for the toast or jam if it was desired. My husband and I said we were sharing 2 entrees. It would be very helpful, and easy, to have them split in the kitchen. We had to ask for extra plates to share the plates ourselves. It was a very disappointing visit and I felt the restaurant was very off their game. It was very nice about 2 months ago when last visited. Not sure Iâd rush back and itâs too bad. The outdoor space is so nice and the restaurant is beautiful but it has never had well trained staff and the food is inconsistent. Thank you for sharing your feedback, Tricia. We regret that your experience with us was less than ideal. We're disappointed to hear the service you received wasn't up to par. Providing our guests with exceptional service is something we take seriously. Please know this will be addressed with the appropriate members of our team so we may improve for the future. We hope you'll give us another chance to show you the service we're truly capable of providing.

I like the atmosphere--old building, mezzanine seating, interesting bar with hi-def screens. The music was chosen by wi-fi juke box request (Hotbox?) which I really liked. I had ribs, my wife had the meatloaf sandwich; both were very good. The service was friendly and efficient...I would definitely go back.

They have a remarkably original menu! Love their fried cheese curds, their roasted beet salad, and their burgers. Had Boston Creme Pie there last week that was the best I have ever had! Well priced, great service, and an lovely environment! Try it, you will like it. I have food allergies and they are very careful to prepare the food so that I can eat it!
