Had Breakfast and Dinner here, a large open area with bar, pool table and large TV on one side and comfortable dining on the other Breakfast was very good, a variety of hot food with the usual fruit, cereal, pastries, toasts, juices and coffee/tea on offer, plenty of choice so even the fussiest would get a good feed. For Dinner we had the fillet steak with fries and Brandy Peppercorn Cream all cooked to perfection and served by two very friendly wait staff. Will happily eat here again next time we stay especially with 20% off for being a PGR member (free to join).

Albury is one of my frequent work visit destinations. I knew this place and did not bother trying until this time around. Entering from Macaulay street the first impression is just another pub, but the garden/outdoor area was very nicely setup. I can easily picture that Friday or Saturday nights would be popular!!Had a bunch of heaters for colder months but not sure how effective they are and donât want to imagine the power bills!!...anyway, food, variety/range was 4/5, serving size 5/5, and quality - 4.5/5. Overall value for money - 5/5.A very nice place to chill out with a cold beer and into pub/bistro food!!

Watched the Superjesus here. The only problem is you have to put up with all the smoker's while watching a gig, they all should be a non smoking event when a gig is on. Had a meal of the chicken schnitzel it was ok. A Corona is $9 & most other beers on tap are $7.50. I won't be going back with those prices.
This is the place to eat breakfast, don't waste your time driving to Albury's cafes or cooking your own. Friendly staff, special mention to Gail, pool views, coffee machine or freshly brewed, many tea choices & several juices. A fully cooked breakfast plus all of the above for $20, unbelievable value! And you don't need to leave the resort. Dear Anthony1962 Thank you for reviewing your breakfast served in our restaurant,we are all very pleased that you enjoyed your experience here and I can't wait to show Gail your review, she will be especially pleased, thanks again and we look forward to your return Yours Sincerely Stephen Jones

A part of the city in the country" Albury's own award winning Zedbar was established in 2007 when an opportunity was identified to provide a city style entertainment venue that was not being catered for in the region. The friendly and experienced team at
Firstly I would compliment the staff, friendly and efficient. We were having a family reunion and as happens there were several food preferences through allergies etc. Having checked on their web site and confirming by their high lighted ânew menuâ all could be catered for. On arrival and seeing the menus we were told that the items on the web site were the âoldâ menu. Being mid week there were very few other patrons and it was obvious the kitchen was waiting on our orders before closing up even though it was only 7.30.The food was good. The venue is comfortable but the music was way too loud for easy conversation.Probably will find somewhere else next time

I was first taken to the Commercial Golf Club Bistro a year ago on my way back to Melbourne from Canberra along the Hume. We had dinner on a verandah overlooking the golf course on a warm summer's night. The food was great and the view over the golf course so peaceful and beautiful stretching away to the hills in the background; kangaroos were grazing along with ibis and other birds. After the hurley-burley of the freeway, this felt wonderful. I probably couldn't have cared what the food was like. But to my surprise it was excellent and when I was headed back to Canberra from Melbourne recently I thought of this stop. Everyone was eating inside which on a warm night was unexpected, but we made for the balcony again. I had the pork, my companion the battered fish and chips. Not only was the meat/fish delicious, the vegetables were lovely and the view of the sunset on a stormy night amazing. The kangaroos were out again, and many birds, as well as a few happy golfers - it looked like a great course. Drinks were good and there was a wide selection. There is a lot to appeal to other people about this place - the bar of course, poker machines and TAB and a golf shop below - but for me the view and the competent food were the only interest so I'll leave it to others to comment on those. I can't say service was fantastic, but it was adequate, prices were reasonable for the quality of the food, though we were not members. I'm rating this a 5, because, for what it is - superior pub food in a great setting - it's much better than the usual country stopover.

Public House is a loved local in the heart of Dean Street Albury, where you receive a warm welcome every time. Local food, local people, serving cocktail and good times - where friends meet regularly, to connect and make memories!
We were recommended a restaurant/ Bar called the Bended Elbow by the hotel we were staying. On the way down we passed Public House. It looked like great decor on the outside. We went in and apart from a pack of 6 goons sitting up the back, the place was dead empty. We ordered a drink but were told we were unable to be served because one of us seemed a bit drunk?Go figure, there is nobody here to upset anyway. So what if we sit down and have a meal and a drink, the place is empty. We left and went to the Bendede elbow, had a great night and a lot of laughs. This place will go broke if that is their style.

We ate with friends and took advantage of the daily special which also included a $4 drink credit. The meals took a little while to arrive because they were very busy but were generously sized and tasty. Bar service was excellent, as was the table service. Regular menu was quite extensive and would cater to most peoples' tastes or requirements.
