Although the three of us had 3 different meals we didnt enjoy them-chicken was over cooked too.We were looking for an alternative to the Ivory Tusk for our take aways but this will not be it! Service very slow even though they were not busy.Onion Bhaji was so overcooked it should have been thrown away

We order regularly from Spiceland. Never had a bad meal. Delivery times can be lengthy but well worth the wait, just remember to order allowing plenty of time.
Just had a Shapla special mixed curry (£5.80) and two chapatis (65p each) from here. Very disappointed. The place itself can be found across from the Vinyl Nightclub. A small shopfront. The public area inside doesnât inspire confidence. In real need of a freshen up, but looks can be deceiving. I was the only one in the shop during my visit. Food was cooked and packed in about 10 mins, so that was ok. Noticed that they had included a small popadom and a dip for free. The special mixed curry was the most mixed indian curry Iâve ever seen. Youâd think that was a good thing but not in this case. Within the very oily âsauceâ I think I found chicken, prawn, possibly lamb or beef, carrots, cucumber(?), potato, peas, and maybe some other stuff. With such a mix youâd think it was full of flavour. Instead it was bland, under seasoned, very oily, and unappetising. The chapatiâs were good though but one went to waste as I couldnât bear to eat all of the curry. The popadom was fine and the little dip was a refreshing minty dip that I wasnât my cup of tea. The prices on the menu were excellent but it isnât all about price, taste and quality of the food should be foremost in any eatery. I hope the dish I had was their worst and maybe everything else was brilliant. I wonât be finding out though, as I canât recommend it and wouldnât go back. My harshest review for a long long time.

Best Indian Rest In The Whole Of Tamworh. Go Every Week, never Have Off The Menu Just Have What The Cook Recomends, never Had A Bad Meal. Been For The Last 3 Xmas Days To This Place
We have had a number of meals delivered from this restaurant, meals are fine but this week we were charged a delivery fee. The menu states free home delivery service within 4miles radius on orders over £15. My order was £25 and when I checked the post codes on the AA route finder we are 2.9miles from the restaurant. If this charge is added again I think we may stop using this restaurant.

The food is brilliant,,,, but when you have a takeaway they miss out items on your order. No Bhajis , no breads and no chicken tikka in the chicken tikka, potato and mushroom madras ??? . A bit disappointing and too late to ring and get the missed item delivered as the meal would go cold . Miah sort this problem out .

Visited here with friends. It was busy but after waiting nearly an hour for the starters I was getting a little frustrated and irritated, eventually they came out and the rest of the food followed promptly after. Iâve given 4 stars as the food was delicious and staff very helpful. I will visit again and also order food from here. Letâs hope the wait wonât be so long next time

Visited this restaurant very recently on spec, with friends (5 in all). The restaurant was clean and well furnished We were seated immediately and treated really well by the polite and eager staff members. After a Popadom each with Chutney, each guest had a different main course with one starter and 5 accompaniments (Rice and Nans), followed by a pint of beer to wash it down. Then came the highlight - the total bill came to £66.95. Couldn't believe it.

The correct adress and contact no is-Delhi Divan,18 Lower Gungate,Tamworth,Staffordshire,B79 7AL,United kingdom. Please correct my phone number
This was our first visit, and we were very favourably impressed. It is contemporary in design, with very attentive staff, who were obviously keen to please. There was prompt service â particularly important since we were bound for a concert at St Edithaâs â and there was ample vegetarian choice. We hope to return when we are next in Tamworth.

We visited this restaurant for dinner as we were staying in Tamworth visiting Drayton Manor Park. Food was amazing. I have been to lots and lots of Indian restaurants in London and worldwide and this has to be one one of the best ones I have been to if not the very best. It is a lovely decorated restaurant. It even had its own car park. Portions were massive - and the food was cooked to perfection. Took takeaway as we had too much food left! Staff were super attentive and there was nothing they wouldnât do! Bill was also extremely reasonable too. Overall a brilliant experience and I highly recommend going to this lovely Indian restaurant.

Right from the warm welcome, we knew we were going to have a great evening. We hadnt booked and were worried as it wa a busy Friday night. However, we were shown a table straight away. Nice clean table, and care had been taken to lay it nicely. Drinks ordered, we were suprised that the special meal deal was available. We ordered popadoms and chutneys to start, then vegetable samosas for myself and hubby had chicken shashlik. Mains were chicken curry for hubby and vegetable dhasak for myself. I had lemon and chilli rice, hubby had mushroom rice. Sides were a roti for myself and a chapati for hubby. The food was nothing short of exquisite. Nicely presented, and so very tasty. Every mouthful was completely delicious. The waiting staff were efficient and very attentive without being annoying. Everywhere was clean and tidy, even the toilets which normally are left out of cleansing routines. A lovely comfy restaurant, nice choices and a very reasonably priced menu. Despite travelling for an hour to eat here, it was well worth it.Definitely be going back!
