Weâve eaten at this restaurant many times over the last year after discovering it an itâs without doubt excellent!! The food is authentic an full of traditional spices well presented an cooked to perfection the chefs can certainly cook and no their culture!!All the staff are so polite and friendly! The only slight criticism we have is the lamb it tends to be chewy but other than that no complaints whatsoever! If you want to experience traditional Indian food this is the place to go leaves other Indian restaurants standing in the area no comparison! Lovely! One of our favourites!

Went here on the way home from YSP.Very friendly staff and great service. Clean and tidy.Itâs going through an upgrade so small niggles like wonky chipped tables will no doubt be sorted out.Food is decent and good sized helpings.BUT. Please sort out the plastic. Itâs distressing to see the amount of plastic being used. Plastic cutleryLittle plastic pots of sauce which I guess are just binned. Plastic for rice So come on do your bit Abdul and get with the the times. Please.

We ordered a feast from Chilli 2. Our group consisted of vegans, veggies and meat eaters. All were catered for, with some delicious food. There is so much choice on the menu that you are really spoiled. The food was delivered on time and piping hot. I would highly recommend this as a great takeaway. Next time I'll be eating in the restaurant to see how that compares.

Indian takeaway in Moorehouse Stanley.
First and last ever order, read the reviews and thought give it a go. The meal arrived quickly, that was the only plus Iâm afraid. The starters bahjis and samosas were very greasy and almost cold, garlic nan again almost cold and the garlic had a strange taste. The korma well i ordered korma it resembled what I can only describe as a watery soup with a few pieces of tough and again strange tasting chicken. I did eat the meal but a day or so later was very ill, I am not saying this was the cause but it was the only takeaway I had within a 2 week period.

Come and enjoy an ultimate experience of fine dining and hospitality. Awaiting our most discerning of guests is an array of authentic exquisite Kashmiri cuisine, which reflects the cultural diversities of our homeland. Our restaurants are warm and welcomi
Three of us met at Kashmiri this evening for a catch up. We were greeted warmly and shown to a table where we were immediately given menus and our drinks order was taken. These arrived quickly and our lovely poppadoms arrived shortly after. To be honest, we were so busy talking that I don't know how long our mains took to arrive but we certainly didn't seem to wait too long. The food was delicious, I especially loved the peshwari naan. Lots of sultanas and pineapple and although it was quite thick it didn't feel too doughy. Only one of us didn't manage to finish her meal and they were happy to pack the leftovers up for her to take away. The waiters were always available to provide extra drinks and we never felt rushed. We had so much to catch up on that we were one of the last tables to leave but they didn't bring us the bill until we asked for it.A lovely evening with great food and service. I think we'll be back for our next catch up soon!

A TRULY UNIQUE EXPERIENCE OF FINE DINING. On the 4th of October 2015 we opened Amaia on Northgate in Wakefield to offer a unique concept in cutting-edge Indian food style and methodology. At Amaia we have pride and take confidence in bringing the Traditio
This used to be 1 of our favourite restaurants but tonight we left disappointed. It wasn't busy for a Saturday so no atmosphere. The staff were friendly enough but nothing special. In the past the service has been fantastic, including the greeting on arrival, but tonight we did not feel special. The food was tasty enough but not as good as our locals.Has there been a change of management?

A popular bring your own alcohol restaurant
Absolutely love this place definatley the best Indian in Wakefield last visited on Saturday and already planning our next visit for this week! Highly recommend. Fab food and really lovely friendly staff they really cant do enough for you, they are always asking if everything is ok and even offered to cook our order in frylight. Visited about 5 times to eat in with friends and had a fair few takeaways this year so far. Take your own alcohol, cash only, soft drinks to be bought in the restaurant. I advise to book a table as everytime when we have been in they have got really busy. Thanks Syhiba :)

On the website it advertises a 5 course meal Wednesday and Sunday - in fact this seems to be Wednesday to Sunday. It costs £11.95 and includes a glass of wine. It consists of popadoms with dips, a starter, a main course with rice or nan and either ice cream or coffee, which is not exactly 5 courses but is loads to eat (I ran out of steam half way through my main course). My main course was delicious (chicken Murgh with sweet chilli) and I had garlic nan which was the best I have ever eaten. My main criticism is that it is quite confusing because the menu is not set up for this deal and some things (lamb chops, fish and prawns) carry a supplement which varies. However, we had the mixed starter which included lamb chops and the supplement was only £1 for both of us. The staff are friendly and helpful. There is a car park right next door but unfortunately this is a private car park and seems to carry a charge regardless of the time of day. Over all a delicious meal and great value

We guarantee our guests the finest Indian food in the most exhilarating, comfortable and prestigious surroundings. Our Chefs use only the finest herbs and spices. Our award winning chef serves a menu of classical dishes from throughout India, served along
The restaurant is lovely , nicely decorated and clean. The service was good but the food was not great.my husband will only eat plain food and ordered scampi and chips. The waiter couldn't understand why he wanted scampi and tried to change his mind and even offered to cook him liver. When his scampi came we knew why ,my husband couldn't even chew some of it . It was tiny pieces and very overcooked and the chips were thin frozen fries. When he complained he was offered other food off the menu and liver again . His excuse for the food was ' we don't get asked for scampi and I don't know how to cook it '. Well please take it off the menu if you can't cook it .
