Bischofshofen's best kept secret.A little wine bar tucked away in a side street, and if you find it, you'll be in for a treat !A real cosy, buzzing, vibrant place to come & eat or just for drink. From steaks to lasagne, a range of different dishes for all budgets and tastes. We have been going to Ortners now over the past 4 years, and never disappoints. If you want to sample some of their delights, it might be advisable to book in advance, to avoid disappointment. The staff are efficient and friendly. The food is fresh and really tasty. But if you 'd just want to hang out for a drink or two, it has a real vibrant atmosphere. We are going back to this part of Austria in September, Ortners we shall return!!!

The restaurant is a few minutes down the road from the ice cave. Because of the touristy location it's a bit pricier from the usual in the area, but still the food is pretty good, the meals were big and satisfying.
After coming down from the Ice Caves, we sat here to eat. The food was out of the owrl and the service was with a smile. Just loved every bit of the food. Had a great meal.

kiddie meals, traditional Austrian food at a tourist trap location, but prices and quality of food are top notch.Terrific desert dish: chopped/scrambled pancake with applesauce on the side. Yummy after the long walk up and dowm from the ice cave!

We stopped over at this restaurant as it was lunch time and there's nothing great about this restaurant apart from the view that it offers. The service was good and friendly. Food wise, they're a quite expensive and the food was mediocre. We ordered burger and it was plain with a thin patty and dried buns. Plus, some french fries.

While visiting the Pfarrwerfen area, our pension hosts recommended this delightful restaurant. We found the dining to be a rare experience of traditional and alternative options. The portions were generous; the hosts welcoming. The restaurant has a good sized covered terrace which allowed us to dine in the cooling evening, with the mountains opposite. We eagerly returned the following evening for another chance to choose from the menu, and again were very impressed. Fabulous flavour combinations! If we are in the area in future, we'll be taking the exit for another Schwungradl treat.

My wife was celebrating her birthday and also we were celebrating our 50th wedding anniversary. The husband is a truly gourmet chief and his wife is the hostess. We had the four course "surprise" dinner which was excellent. The two of them made my wife & I feel so special on our romantic adventure.

The Reitsamerhof is a family run restaurant and B&B. Food is exceptional traditional Austrian cooking served by various family members. They are all quite large , so they must like food too which is a good sign. Ambience is a bit dated however there is a beautiful vista into a meadow and the forest beyond.

In the opinion of many gourmets the brothers Karl and Rudi Obauer are the most successful in the country. Every year their restaurant achieves the highest nominations by national and international gourmet guides.
We had a wonderful dinner of four courses, plus a couple of complimentary amuse-bouches. The food is Austrian, mostly locally sourced. At â¬90 per head, a very fair price. The most impressive and unforgettable thing about Obauer is the superb service. The timing is impeccable. We also liked that when a waiter brought the next course, there was always an assistant waiter standing alongside holding a large tray, while the waiter placed the plates and offered some explanations.Expect to spend a minimum of two hours at dinner.
