The owner is very friendly and jovial. He was very helpful and then provided us with games to entertain ourselves whilst we waited for the pizzas. The pizzas were amazing!! We had a lot of fun chatting with the owner and other guests. Great atmosphere. Highly recommended.

We stopped here for our lunch whilst skiing in the area, service was super fast the staff were efficient and the goulash soup was a decent sized portion.

This is a mid mountain point with a restaurant, ski hire shops and a lively iglu bar for apres ski. In summer the cows graze this high. In May I saw marmots coming out of their burrows.

You want to have fun on the mountain. Go and see Hans Peter in his little bar at Eggalm.Zirbenschnaps and a good cold beer, and skiing is fun.

We didn't have table reservation when we arrived. The first waitress passed us 6 times and totally ignored us. Finally the other waitress noticed us and told that it will take 20-30 min to get a table. We said that we can wait in the bar. We thought that it would be nice to just sit and have a beer or coke while waiting for the table. However, neither of the waitresses paid any attention to us - they came to the bar several times but we seemed to be invisible to them. We were just about to leave while the table was ready. When the food came it was really good but the image we got was not that good because of the service. The restaurant was full but that is not a reason to totally ignore customers!

It's a nice traditional restaurant close to the center of the village. So points for location and decoration. However the food and staff were only mediocre and one gets the feeling that they don't see the need to put much effort in either as tourists will come anyway...

The night we went there was one poor soul running the fornt of house as best he could, freindly and helpful but clearly under pressure. From what we could see it was him and the chef. The food we had was mediocre, warmed over ribs, overcooked chicken wings and none of our comapnions were bowled over with what they had.The location is great, warm cosy and great fun when filled with people, with some live music on a Friday night it would be great. You need to book in advance and take a taxi from the valley up the hill and the real reason for going is not the food or the beer but how you get back down. After dinner and some beers, schnapps etc it would clearly be dangerous to walk back down even though the road is closed so why not take a sled down the same route.Everyone is free to depart when they want and there is some limited street lighting so a ead torch is recommended, you can get up quite a speed so ski helmets are not a bad thing and enjoy the 5km ride to the bottom. Ditch your sledge when you hit the main road and go to bed grinning like a kid. Just forget the food bit.Hallo, wir sind die neuen Besitzer seit dem 1.8.2018. Wäre nett wenn Du uns eine Chance gibst und uns mal besuchst. Liebe GrüÃe von der Grieralm Sabine und Thomas mit Koch Stefan

Although meals are okay, your entire senses may be negatively affected by people, both personnel (trying to "manage" queue, for example, redirecting people who would not like first course dishes, around queue, without any care for queue merging later) and visitors (who tend to "reserve" places in advance or sit that way, which clearly shows that they are against sharing some table space despite the restaurant is kinda overcrowded.

This place was AMAZING! We had a bleu cheese soup and a wild mushroom soup which were both delicious. Then my husband had the bacon wrapped venison and I had the hunters plate. Both were some of the best food we have ever had! Béla was an outstanding waiter. The best we have had in Europe. Super fast and anticipating our needs - and recommended the wonderful food we had! We wished we lived closer to here!
