Not just a meal for two, we were invited to a wedding for extended family. My wife who lived and worked in the area never has a problem at these sorts of functions, but I am a true "auslander" so tend to sit in the corner and keep quiet. On this day however, that all changed. Church service in the morning, various fun and games on the way to the restaurant, as is the local tradition. I felt so good, making small talk with people, laughing and joking, right up to the serious point of where we sat down to eat.A four course meal can be daunting, but with food this good, it was never going to be a problem (for me anyway).Starter was a light consommé, with crisp shredded vegetables, almost like a light Minestrone The little dumplings with parmesan added a little depth to the soup (may I also say here that when I saw people adding "Maggi Aromat" and copious amounts of salt, my heart sank. It was one of the freshest, lightest, cleanest tasting soups I have had in a very long time, and needed nothing else.Second course was a beetroot dough ravioli filled with cheese. Words fail me, light delicate, full of flavour, I could have happily eaten many more. After a bit of a break came the main course. Veal cooked three ways, with vegetables and a nice light sauce. Why more British people dont eat veal is beyond me, especially if this cooking was anything to go by. Meat so tender you could cut it with a spoon, crisp vegetables (I had to take out the peas, devils food to me...) and the sauce I could have had by the bucket.Dessert was a selection of ice cream / parfait with macerated strawberries. A very good choice to end the meal. You will have to forgive me for gushing, but this is easily in the top 5 meals I have ever eaten, it truly was that good.A nice selection of wine, and a cheeky schnapps at the bar to finish, and I was done. I am looking into coming back and staying here. I think the scenery, peace an quiet, and good food would be the best way ever to chill for a few days.My compliments to the staff, and I cannot praise them highly enough.PS, I might have lost a cufflink there, if you find one, could you let me know please.Thank you so much!

A warm welcome and quick service to start. Prices are good and value for money excellent overall. Food arrival and presentation excellent. However, after the initial flourish the service descends off the edge of a cliff and paying the bill is a trial. Would return but don't count on catching your bus when you want to pay.

Went there for lunch, maybe this was the problem, lots of construction workers in their working clothes there eating their cheap lunch on 'special' conditions on the tables without tablecloth. Plus us getting the menu (the others didnt get it) and seated on the table with tablecloth (some kind of second and first class division). Food - average actually - nothing really special. Service, good but not very friendly.

Bello e accogliente rifugio facilmente accessibile (a piedi, ovviamente!), vicino a corsi d'acqua, a monte della famosa cascata di Parcines (consigliata!). Ottima cucina locale, prezzi onesti, ideale anche con bambini.

Seemingly hundreds of people sinking vast amounts of Forst beer from across the road to accompany the good plain Tirolean food. It's dusty, it's noisy and no place to wear your best clothes but great fun especially when there is live music

We are long-time returnees to this restaurant, where one can enjoy great food, beautiful scenery, good service and atmosphere (even live country music on the last Thursday of each month during the summer months) at affordable prices. The cheese dumpling (a local specialty) and "vitello tonato" (veal with tuna sauce, a typical Italian dish concept) are out of this world!

We always have lunch at this restaurant when we're passing through Rablà and it never disappoints. We started with 2 glasses of prosecco and the smoked cold meats plate, then as it was asparagus season we had asparagus with salmon steak and asparagus with ham and new potatoes, served with the wonderfil Bolzaner sauce, we washed this down with a glass of Cabernet Sauvignon and finished with a chocolate parfait and a creme brulèe. Total bill with water and coffee â¬112.20 worth every penny.

Today we had been here the first time after a local said we HAVE TO get there and it was absolutely worth it. The view is amazing. The building and the surroundings are so pretty that you want to move in immediately. You have to see it on your own anyway... it's impressive to see what you can build with a loooot of stones. And don't forget to taste the raspberry Schnaps, raspberry jam and the raspberry juice. Oh and the food is delicious too. Stuff is friendly. What else do you want? :D

We were here already in the afternoon with the whole family for a small bite with some wine and ham, in the evening we returned for dinner. Restaurant, next to our hotel in the wine mountains has a nice terrace with impressive view to Lagund und Merano. Food was nice, pasta and meat, with Italian and Austrian influence. Good wine card with mostly regional wines from local grapes. Staff was friendly and efficient. Prices were okay for what they offer.

The restaurant is situated on top of a mountain. The view in front is marvelous. The interior is very nice too. The restaurant serves local cuisine. I have been there several times and have never been disappointed. The service is very friendly and efficient too. I am quite often in this region. Beside the luferkeller in riffian this is my favorite place around Meran.
