The place is wonderful placed, you can really relax. Its always full of people, but itâs not disturbing.Cafe aloud to come together with animals,itâs a big + The kitchen have different choices for each taste.I cannot say if itâs fantastic, but on the good level.Prices are more or less like everywhere in Austria. The service is good as well.Only what was really missed,itâs the soap by woman room...Itâs always nice to visit this place and I can recommend it!Here you can see some photos
Coming back from Hangary to Vienna, we made a small detour to Gols. The restaurant serves wine from the Schrammel winery. The food selection compliments the wine menu. And the wine is pretty spectacular. I tried various samples with a speck and cheese plate. (The staff was kind enough to let me bring the wooden platter and knife home with me) The atmosphere is relaxed and quiet. The service is great. The food is wonderful. I recommend you try to find this place...

If you are around Parndorf or Neusiedl you could spend a nice lunch/breaktfast/dinner at this family-owned and -run restaurant in Mönchhof. Be aware that it is really small (around 15 tables) and is focussed on specific, exclusive meals plus offers a variety of local wines. Quality is high and view is nice, though limited. For earning a 5-star rating the following needs to be noticed:* Access for people with dissability is very limited (no elevator, around 30 stairs)* Clearing dishes was not on-the-spot, despite having a very small number of tables to attend to* The buffet was high-quality but still only offered a limited number of dishes.* The view (which the restaurant is claiming) can be limited depending on where you are seated. So overall, we enjoyed the food and would go there again but we were not over-impressed. Still, for a local restaurant in Burgenland the experience was above-average to be rated.
We enjoyed a warm evening under the vines on the terrace. Three dishes is more than enough for us two as the portions are large. The wine is simple and matched the food well. All for under â¬30 total.

Restaurant and winery just next to vineyards - easy access and good parking. Nice and airy interior, welcoming staff, good food (mine was a bit too salty for my taste) and drinks. My added value here is that they sell their wines right in restaurant - fair local Austrian wines with high price / quality ratio.

We had an excellent mid week lunch here. The staff were very friendly and our waiter was great. The food was excellent - a great mix of traditional Austrian and international cuisine. Beautifully presented, good portion size and most importantly delicious. As we were driving we did not sample much wine but this is also a winery. I tried both their Chardonnay and Gelber Muskateller which were well balanced aromatic wines. We purchased some to take home. We did not stay in the hotel but the overall impression from the restaurant and reception would encourage me to consider staying the night if I were to return.

This is not a stylish place, nor will you be served sophisticated preparations or sauces. I think they do not serve any other main course but fish. But - what a fish ! Fresh from the Neusiedlersee, prepared to perfection. We had the fish platter for two with Perch (Fogosch), wild Carper ( Karpfen), pike ( Hecht) and catfish ( Wels) . We could not have chosen better. It came with a perfectly seasoned mixed salad and grilled vegetables as well as parsley potatoes. Unfortunately we had no space for dessert, but what we saw served at other tables looked mouth watering. The service was friendly and efficient, our dog got water without us asking for it. Gols is only an hour's drive from Vienna- vaut le voyage !
