I have been going there every year since i was 2. It's an awesome restaurant/agriturismo. Easy reachable by car or through an half an hour walk through the woods. beautiful location!! the food is genuine, natural, fresh and authentic; all for a rather affordable price! This place never let me down in 20 years! It's simply good for anyone who loves the mountains!

We hiked the Cortina Circuit in late September 2016, when most of the rifugios had just closed winter. This was on our way to Hoho Gaisl Hotel and we were so happy to stop and eat (we weren't hungry, but just excited a rifugio was actually open!). The food was great! The beer was great and the view was great!

After a lovely walk around the Lago di Landro, or Durrensee, and through the surrounding foothills, all we really wanted was an ice-cream and a drink. That was a shame, as they have quite an extensive and varied menu, and although it was only mid-afternoon on a weekday, many other customers seemed to be really appreciating their meals and snacks.Anyway, assisted by a friendly and helpful waitress, we all enjoyed our generously-proportioned ice-creams, and went on our way.

We called in here for lunch when coming down the Prags valley from the Pragser Wildsee. Considering the views and location we were surprised to be the only customers from 12.00 until 12.40. Good selection of local dishes, inexpensive house wine by the glass, and the sun-filled dining room is very attractive. The hostess is attentive, welcoming and eager to please. Thoroughly recommended

We enjoyed this restaurant - especially since it was having a special fish week - and were very disappointed to find it closed for a "rest day" when we went back the following evening (Wednesday). The restaurant is in a beautiful old timbered building. The staff were friendly and efficient. We very much enjoyed the smoked fish starter, ravioli with fish, and halibut with risotto. Excellent beer.

A circa 20 minuti dal lago di Braies (versante sud), è possibile trovare questa malga accogliente dove mangiare prodotti tipici. ATTENZIONE!!! Accetta solo contanti!!!

this is a lovely restaurant in the middle of Dobbiaco (Toblach) but in a quiet street so it was enjoyable to sit outside in the garden of that hotel.Food was good, prices were OK.

Italian friends one of whom is a chef recommended this restaurant. How right they were. The food was excellent as was the service. We live in Italy so will definitely return. When the young lady waitress was taking our dessert orders the owner(I think) leant over and said to my husband the mirtilli have just been freshly picked. I chose them with ice cream and they were delicious. Nothing seemed to be too much trouble and all seemed to enjoy their work rather than simply work.

What a location! With good food and beer!Looking for a place with high heels, fancy perfumes and french kitchen? Look somewhere else! This is where you start or finish a full, sweat soaked day in the mountains. And if you're lucky (?) you will hear the landlord play his accordion from the terrace. In Lederhosen :-)

If you are looking for local specialties in a scenic environment, friendly people, and a authentic restraurant, you have definitely come to the right place! It's a bit remote and while going there you may wonder when you'll get there, but it will definitely be worth the drive. If the weather is good you will enjoy the amazing view. You should make reservations since it's often fully booked. Interestingly, while the food is mostly traditional Tyrolean, most of the guests the we have seen while there (we have been the 4 times), are mostly Italians from further south, people that are used to a very different kitchen and traditions. But like us, they find it worth while coming here. It has become a tradition for us to eat here every year when we're here on vacation. and we have never been disappointed, so give it a try!
