Beautiful decor and felt extremely well looked after and homely. I love the wooden interior and decorative carvings. Worth a visit even just for a peak inside. The food was absolutely the best meal that we had on our trip. Really fast service with a friendly talkative waitress, who's english was perfect. The flavours matched perfectly and I felt the deer we had was a impressively put together selection of ingredients. This meal was a real treat.

Large but typical "Skihütte" (ski lodge), with a nice big sunny terrace and the usual ski lodge food (Currywurst, Schnitzel, fries, etc.). Can get very busy on sunny winter weekends around lunch time.Beer is on tap and you have to tap it yourself, which is fun.Prices are high, but not higher than the usual at these kind of places.
Exactly what you except from a local restaurant, waitresses dressed in the local dress, local food, typical for the area, playground for the kids and really friendly people , great place to eat with friends of family

We found this resturant on our journey towards Munich. It is clearly worthwhile to turn off the road and get into this genuine community. The food is tasty and affordable.

Will give a 4. We did not have a meal but the decor and cake were great.Took a card. When we are back trhu this area in 2020 we will plan to make a longer stay to enjoy the hotel and try the dinner. Staff was friendly.

Our group of 4 (2 Aussies and 2 Germans) absolutely loved our stay here. Stefanie made us feel very welcome. Our rooms (Kanisfluh) were gorgeous, in the alpine style with both traditional and modern touches. Beautiful views from the balcony over the surrounding forests, their own llamas and the mountains. The bed was large and very comfortable. The small "heating" room adjoining the bathroom was a welcome touch, after a demanding hike up the mountain. We can recommend the tasty fresh plum cake we devoured for afternoon coffee. The dinner at night was multi-course and gourmet in style with exquisite use of local ingredients and local cuisine. We loved our breakfast buffet, with every taste catered for: fresh breads, croissants, cereals including Bircher musli, dried and fresh fruits & nuts, yoghurts, jams, cheeses, cold meats & smoked salmon, juices, as well as make your own fresh juice, eggs ,coffee & tea. What a choice! We can thoroughly recommend this establishment!

Good local and organic Austrian food in cosy authentic farmlike atmosfere. The zwiebelrostbraten and other local dishes are very good dishes. Friendly waiters in Austrian dress (dirndl). Live Music on wednesdays (in winter). Very suitable with kids, playingroom and toy cow milking device. Good value for money.

I only regret not coming here during prior trips to Lech. We went to S'Achtele twice over the week for dinner, walking there both times. The Amouse Bouche is really excellent. I can highly recommend the VEAL CUTLET. My wife enjoyed her lamb - twice! The wine selection is dominated by Austrian offerings...worth exploring while in Lech. The service is genuine and friendly and I really liked the atmosphere : No big windows, but nice lighting. The restaurant is not too big, so do reserve!
