We went here for lunch when we were in Wauchope for the day. The $10 specials board was great, lots to choose from and what we had was really tasty. It's not much to look at from the outside but inside is quite nice, good comfy seats and good sized tables not too crowded together. There's also tables outside which would be nice on a sunny day.Staff were friendly and meals came out relatively quickly.Would definitely come here again
Called in on a Thursday night solo on my motorbike.Kitchen was closed but had a great night chatting with locals in the front bar learning about the area. They allowed me to camp in the horse paddock out the back. Now im not usually the sort of person to do that sort of thing being a city boy but it was a great experience. Very friendly place.
What a gem, great food, best coffee in over a week of touring nsw and the friendliest of staff. Well prices and a good variety on the menu. Bonus, no ridiculous surcharge on australia day holiday. Well done guys. Hope business thrives. It should as you gave got it all

Wasn't planning on staying here but arrived late so decided to check into the motel. The restaurant is connected to it and although they were due to close and the chef had already left, the owner ended up cooking us our steak meal. It was fantastic. The steak arrived as we ordered and the chips were cooked perfectly. The bonus was the salad wasn't just a garnish. It was a salad and was equally as nice. The staff were really nice and the girl behind the bar handled a rude drunk man exceptionally well and professionally. I would definitely dine here again

Delicious food, byo bar, family friendly, outdoor seating with fire pit and a little childrenâs play area
Arrived at 6.00pm Sat with a group of nine for early dinner, ordered Pizza for the kids, sorry sold out, ordered Lobster Mourney, sorry no Lobster, ordered Nachos which were served without Guacamole only to be told sorry no Guacamole, one of us had Seafood Basket, the fish was as dry as a desert & the calamari was like eating a rubber band. I asked for a soft drink only to be told you will have to go to the bar & pay for that separately. When I went to pay nobody asked if the meal was ok or if we enjoyed the night, junior staff that have not been trained in the basic politeness. I won't be back again or my family.

We have been members for many years & experienced many changes to the catering arrangements. The current chef has a good following & numbers for dining on weekends have picked up. We ate dinner on a Tues night, currently marketed as schnitzel night. Very few people there when we arrived around 7.30pm but the food was great. As per the Country Club facebook site, $13 gets you a schnitzel with chips and salad & a choice of sauce (can ask to have sauce in separate bowl instead of poured over schnitzel). Very big meal but the meat was great with a crisp coating but well cooked & moist inside. Service was very quick & meal was nice & hot. Drinks at bar prices & the toilets are always clean. Plenty of parking

We have enjoyed the kebabs from the time this business started in Port Macquarie. The salads are always fresh & well presented, the meats are well cooked & tasty and there is plenty of choice of sauce. The menu has been expanded at Wauchope to offer burgers etc. Service is quick & polite. The shop has plenty of room to sit if you want to dine in. Good cold drinks available

Curly's Café is located opposite Timbertown in the picturesque town of Wauchope on the Mid North Coast of NSW. You can come and sit inside the Colonial style tearoom or enjoy the outdoor ambience under the shade sails at the back. Whether you are looking
I'm badly burnt from yesterday's beach activities (South West Rocks, Hat Head, Crescent Head), taking a break at Wauchope. I've never been to this part of the woods and Curlys Cafe is representing Wauchope pretty good. Great coffee and food.
