We were recommended this place by a couple on our wine tour and I'm happy that we decided to come. The serving sizes are really big and the Quail was definitely my favourite. Green beans and chips as a side were also pretty good and the staff provided really good service.

I only needed a quick bottle of wine, the friendly advise,a limited tasting and I was extremely happy with the outcome. A bottle of Sons of Eden 2018 Freya Riesling was fresh ,vibrant and its citrus characters perfectly suited our meal. Love the comfortable chairs around the bar, great atmosphere. RECOMMEND

We called into the Tanunda Hotel for a cold beer on an extremely hot 39 degree day.The beer was icy cold and the staff in this traditional old pub were very friendly. The menu looked inviting.

We visited with another couple for the 7 course tasting menu with luxury wine matching.Including the tasting to start it actually ends up being about 15 plates all with wonderful presentation. The service was great and the flavours were distinct and yummy. My Husband loves meat so his only minor complaint was only 1 course had mammal but I really canât fault anything.

This is a lovely space situated inside a sort of upscale farm shop in the Barossa. It reminded me a little of Daylesford Farm Shop in Oxfordshire, UK. The grounds are fantastic and well-planted with climate-suited succulents and the like. Birds a-plenty too.The menu is small but with some lovely dishes. I had a starter for lunch based on brussels sprouts and black hollandaise and bacon. A lot tastier than it sounds! They also serve non-alcoholic sparkling Cabernet and Chardonnay grape juices which were really refreshing. Their ciabatta bread was delicious and the butter that came with it was particularly good. Service was brusque but efficient. Not a lot of friendly interaction but that didnât detract from the food and the surroundings that much. Definitely a great place to stop on a trip around the Barossa.

Food, wine, luxury accommodation and a genuine welcome await. Just one hour from Adelaide and set atop a gentle hill, Appellation at The Louise is highly regarded as one of Australia's finest restaurants led by chef Daniel Murphy. With a passion for real,
The decor of the restaurant and adjoining lounge is understated and elegant. We found the staff all friendly and very knowledgeable. The food was brilliant and we loved each course, portions are small but by the end we were certainly full and very satisfied. The extra touches are very thoughtful and added to our dining experience.

Went here twice over a five day stay in the Barossa Valley.First time was for coffee - which was excellent and whetted our appetite to return for breakfast on another day.The space is wonderful - it is located in an old, renovated industrial space and has a lot of character. The breakfast menu is very interesting and innovative with some unusual food combinations. Gluten free bread is available for those who need this option. The food was great and the serving sizes are generous. All four members of our group thoroughly enjoyed their selections.Would happily go back when next in the Barossa

The heart of Barossa hospitality, 1918 Bistro & Grill occupies a 100 year old home boasting roaring open fires. The charming ambience, hearty fare and friendly service has long been enjoyed by Barossans. Our iconic restaurant is a must visit for anyone se
Tanunda is in the midst of some of the best wines in Australia and the World. Restaurant choices are also expanding. 1918 is set in a beautifully restored Australian returned verandah house. We were able to sit outside and admire the well kept garden and take in the cooling breeze. Lunch was exceptional. The ROASTED DUCK BREASTSpring Succotash, Green Pea Pure was amazing. Good size serve and well presented. My partner had the GRILLED BEEF EYE FILLET MSASweet Potato, Herb Polenta Chips, Thyme Jus - perfect Gluten Free meal. Washed down with a Pinot Gris or two. Take a wonder in the Town and pop into 1918.

In a prime location in the centre of a town busy with visitors and sporting a very modern look, this is a business that should be outstanding. The service was very mediocre - on two occasions we had to remind staff of our "lost" orders. The local wines were substantially marked up compared to other local restaurants. If the wine list, selection process, cellar ambience service was exceptional you might excuse the prices but none of those attributes applied. We chose the "Chef's selection" of five courses and were under whelmed when the first arrived with "Dill Cucumbers" that were tiny vinegar soaked gerkins imported from somewhere rather than the easily available local product. There were no memorable flavours -0h well yes - the gin flavoured icecream is certainly something I will avoid in future! With so many regional food options across the Valley, Musque needs to find a point of difference and work on it. 300 Gins available is not enough

Such a great dining experience and delicious meal. Definitely recommend the tasting menu as it is the best value for money. Brussel sprouts especially good as well as the squid. Really loved the way the drinks were brought over and poured in front of you - a really nice touch. Would return in a heart beat!
