Charlies is situated at the Port Fairy Surf Lifesaving Club. The cafe has breathtaking views along iconic East beach across to the Historic Lighthouse. Fully Licenced, Family friendly beachfront dining. Open 7 days a week for Breakfast, Lunch and Function
A great cafe in a beautiful spot on the water. The staff are welcoming and friendly. Coffee is great and comes out quickly. They make a mean seafood chowder full of flavour, the steak sandwich is delicious and the toasties are pretty good too. Highly recommend.

Port Fairy's best kept secret! Set in a gorgeous location in a cracking spot right on the Southern Ocean. Enjoy a beautiful breakfast, luscious lunch or ride the wave of High Tea fashion and enjoy a bounty of mouthwatering goodies...as fresh as the ocean
What a lovely little surprise i got when we opened this door. Such an eclectic and beautiful cafe/restaurant with sensational views.Very well hidden out of town, but a total find.Food was delicious and the staff were so friendly. Do yourself a favor, when in Port Fairy it's a must to come here for a meal or even High Tea.

After 6 weeks travelling around Australia on holiday from the UK and a disappointing eating experience in Halls Gap, Gregoryâs has restored my faith in Western Victoria dining! Great tasting, perfectly cooked and visually appealing foodâthe duck was divine. And to complete a brilliant eve, the lovely staff didnât mind us lingering for coffee long after the full restaurant emptied on Saturday night! Love Port Fairyâ-from our fabulous apartment at the Ashmont Hotel, to great dining at Gregoryâs, delicious brunch at Bank & co .....and a restorative lighthouse walk.

We booked here for dinner and we were told we would have to have a shared table. I am unsure why, as there were lots of empty tables and the other people we were sharing with didn't turn up, so we spent the whole evening all sat on one side of a large table. The menu was a bit odd, but we ordered dishes to share, between two and the other two shared dishes also. We had some nice wine, by the glass, but I would say the wine menu was confusing. This was a quirky place to go to, but could have been better.

Fresh ingredients, brunch all day, salads, quiche, fresh juice and the best coffee in town!
Visited for brunch. Food was ok though croissant was burnt and poached eggs over cooked. Coffee was good but no better than others weâve had in Port Fairy. Would have given it a 4 if lady serving hadnât been quite so grumpy. Would choose Bank Street & Co above this place.

The perfect trifecta of great atmosphere, food and craft beer. So glad we stopped off in Port Fairy on our Great Ocean Road trip to check out the best pizza joint ever. Enticing selection on both the food and beer menus, with only the tiniest let down that my first choice brew was sold out. Lovely wait staff and efficient service in an characterful restaurant/bar that is much larger than it looks from the outside.

We love our seafood and when the opportunity for a shared platter is available we often chose it.We have enjoyed many many seafood platters around the world and this one would rate as memorable for its freshness and allowing the sea to dominate the flavour. The waitress promoted the platter as ânothing frozen and nothing friedâ and we loved it.There could have been a little more salad option to go with this masterpiece if we were to be super critical, but the warm salad provided was very clever. If seafood is your thing, and why not in a place like Port Fairy, then Blakeâs should be on your list.

The Merrijig Kitchen is open for dinner from 6pm Thursday to Monday. The menu is written daily taking inspiration from the seasons and 'what's good' in the kitchen. Tanya takes care and effort to source produce locally and is always found foraging at the
Not being from the area, we read the reviews on TripAdvisor and decided to trust them. We were not disappointed. Friendly and personal service from real people. First off, the drink recommendations were spot on, secondly the food was 5 star from entree to dessert. Lastly, the staff were attentive and create a light and friendly atmosphere. Book ahead to avoid disappointment. We also stayed here and the accomodation is cozy and comfortable, with the heater being turned on before we arrived which was a nice touch.

Had a delicious brunch of bacon and eggs. The restaurant was full but found a spot by the front window. Service was friendly and prompt and newspapers were provided to pass the time. Prices were reasonable. Plenty of parking on the street. It can get a bit noisy due to the wooden floor.
