On a very quiet Tuesday evening it shouldnât have been so difficult to manage. Two meals ordered - a Parma & a chicken burger. Took longer than expected given there were only a few diners and the burger was wrong. No waitress to be found so back up to the bar to query. Oops, wrong burger put through - ummmmm how? Chicken on brioche is not beef on a roll. Advised it could take a while (still not busy, so, why?)Promised a complimentary drink that never appeared.After a long enough wait to have us wondering if weâd been forgotten, the Southern Fried Chicken Burger arrived - only, it wasnât worth the wait or the $22 cost as sadly there was way more southern (all crumb & seasoning) than chicken $47 lighter ($25 for the bland âSunrise Parmaâ) and under impressed we wonât bother with a second visit. So much for spending & supporting local.

We stayed 6 nights at the Mercure WestWaters Hotel in November 2018.We ate 4 times at the restaurant/bistro in the evenings. They do dinner every night, but lunch only Thursday to Sunday (though days have been extended for Christmas I think), and breakfast not at all. When the bistro is not open you can eat in the smaller cafe. The menu is excellent and suits our tastes very well. There are many items there we would happily order. There is also a good drinks menu.We enjoyed our meals every time, and the service was good. Price was reasonable, made even better with my Accor membership discounts. We will hopefully return to this hotel and this restaurant.

Visited with family during week excellent service made feel most welcome by staff,all had Calamari meal which is of excellent quality and size followed by their house coffee.Could not believe the prices they are excellent and could recommend the café to all.

Went on a Monday night for dinner, eating around 8pm. Service was terrible, slow and need to pick up theirs game.Food was okay, reasonably good serves, prices were reasonable. Good atmosphere, lacking variety in the bistro with wine choices..Thank you for your feedback. We're sorry that your experience with us wasn't great. I'll pass on your message to our team. Anniversary dinner on Valentineâs Day. No Accorplus discount was the first minus. Then barmaid looked dumbstruck when I ordered Pinoir griso. Steak came well done not medium rare. Sauce was not only on the side where it was requested but also over the steak where it wasnât wanted. Veggie burger was close to inedible but the fries were very good. Very disappointing overall.

We are over from England and are visiting very good friends of ours who visit this place a lot ...I cannot find words to put together to describe this place ...Beautiful surroundings ... great staff ..Superb wine ...Outstanding food ...!! We regularly visit the Homestead and usually have excellent food but the service has been questionable, but this visit was a shocker in our view, Why?, we ordered in reasonable time, the Homestead was not busy, the childs meal came within 10 minutes, the 3 Adults waited 45 minutes. The adult food was 1 meal ok, 2 meals not cooked properly, 1 meal was taken of the bill which was appreciated, the other failed meal was billed but we were given 1 free drink.I would not say don't visit the Homestead but i hope they do not have a day off like ours, as stated they are usually a lot better.

Never will I go back to this branch again..I had eaten at Lazy Moes on other branches and they have awesome service especially the Caroline Springs one..staff are not accomodating at all..to think that my child was still eating and asking me if she can get the plates etc. She even told me she didnt know but she asked me twice..its not even their closing time but it seems they want to clean up asap and go earlier than closing time..With the food, poor quality..salad was not good, chicken salad too sweet..my son finished his pancake meal so pretty much thats a good one.Worst experience ever..will not go back again..

My husband and myself went with another couple. The food was fantastic and there was plenty of it - so much so we couldn't eat it all. Husband had seafood and he was impressed. I had the pulled pork burger which was a little hard to eat as it just fell apart but was delicious. The cob (herb, garlic or chili garlic) loaves are the best I've ever had and would feed 4 people.The staff are very friendly but it was a little annoying that every 5 minutes they kept interrupting our conversations asking if everything was ok and could they take the empty glasses. The only downfall is the bathrooms which are in desperate need of attention - one stall was missing the toilet bowl all together, the "family" room's door would not close properly and so could not lock it.Would recommend and will definitely being returning.

We purchased a selection of sandwiches from their catering online choices, for a quick bite before a wedding. They were delicious & popular & were ready on time. Staff were helpful as I was ordering over the phone from another city. Itâs a busy cafe & I look forward to eating in house one day.
