We came across this restaurant by chance for an early dinner. We loved everything, the quirky surrounding , nice music, not too loud, very attentive and knowledgable staff and the food was excellent , we ate barramundi and the goat cheese roasted vegetable terrine. We left in high spirits!

Blue Mountains Best Dining Experience | Darleys Restaurant. Our Blue Mountains Restaurant offers modern Australian cuisine which is served in a romantic space that features beautiful stained glassed windows, original ornate fire places, crystal chandelier
Dinner with friends while visiting the Blue Mountains. The restaurant is set in a beautiful old house and garden with views within Lilianfels Hotel. Decor is dark and opulent but not intimidating. A real feel of luxury. They only do degustation dining. Choice of 5 or 7 courses. We went for the full 7. We also opted for matched wines so we did not have to make any decisions at all. Both the food and the wine were of the highest standard. We had a great special night out. We went on a week night and it was quiet but booked out on weekends as with most of the Blue Mountains. So glad to hear you enjoyed your dinner here, Malcolm. The 7 course and matching wine is our recommendation to have the whole experience at Darleys. Furthermore, we strongly believe that decoration, high quality ingredients and exceptional service are the key to transform a dinner into a unique experience.Appreciate your feedback and hope to welcome you back again in Darleys. Best regards.Pablo Barduca

I booked this restaurant through trip advisor and it was so simple. Just choose the time and your done. The meal, service and atmosphere did not disappoint. Although there was a mix up with our bill and we ended up being over charged and had to go back the next day to get our refund, I would throughly recommend it to anyone in this area

Headed here after reading all the positive reviews as well as recommend by another local traveler. Itâs a very small busy cafe off Katoomba Street and limited seating. We were greeted with a warm smile and seated straight away. The food was amazing as well as the service. As we are traveling today so we thought we would try the big brekkie. Oh my, it should be called the biggest ever brekkie. It was enough for two people to share, however we both plough through it like troopers. Payment is only by cash. Highly recommend.

Walked around looking for breakfast and found this little gem which looked like it was full of locals. The breakfast didnât disappoint and large. Bacon and eggs with 4 large rashes of bacon and eggs done perfectly. Plenty of toast to go with eggs and bacon. Great find and highly recommended.

When we created Palette Dining, our ambition was to produce a menu that was not limited by geography or defined by a single culinary style. Modern Australian cuisine is an amalgam of cultures and styles and our food reflects & embraces that vast breadth o
On a recent trip to the Blue Mountains, after having looked at various dining options for a Saturday night in Leura and Katoomba, we noticed Palette Dining and Diner. The menu appealed as did the appearance of the venue so we had a early dinner booking. It was delight to have dinner there and Matt and the staff were attentive without being intrusive. The food was excellent and Matt's recommendations from the menu proved to be the right size and mix. The home made wood fired bread and chargrilled leek with current and lentils was a perfect starting point, followed by the crisp skin salmon and lamb for the mains. We were able to fit in Palette waffles for dessert as a shared meal - the portions are perfectly suited for a shared dish. Palette is a very good choice when visiting Katoomba.

This is a fun cafe away from the bustle of Sydney. Everything is prepared on the spot including home made breads, soup and chili. All very tasty. Large servings and well prepared will leave you satisfied. The cafe is like being in the Black Forest. Very fascinating and whimsical decor.

Popped in for breakfast with half an hour before train to Sydney and stayed for 90 minutes, which could easily have been stretched further. Wonderful hearty and tasty food, dappled sunlight, welcoming staff and a playlist which chimed with the experience. Brilliant. An hour reading and drinking excellent coffee. May never return but would like to.

Since 1994 Silk's Brasserie has been the go-to restaurant for quality dining on the Blue Mountains. Warm attentive service and great food set the standard. Open 7 days for both lunch and dinner, bookings are always recommended and often essential. (Check
This is a real gem in Leura. From the warm greeting, to the furniture and the white linen table clothes. Staff are friendly (but not over friendly), efficient and courteous. Menu is not huge (andI like that) but you will find something for everyone. I had pan seared scallops, salmon caviar, marinated salmon, tatsoi salad with palm sugar dressing...the scallops were cooked to perfection and the entire entree was 10/10. For main I had Tenderloin Angus beef, fresh asparagus, forest mushrooms, mash and Madeira cream....again 10/10. Excellent wine selection and desserts.Great value as well....will go back and highly recommend

Travelling through Katoomba .. out to dinner to celebrate my husband's birthday .. great service from staff and excellent food - chef cooked my husbands meat to his particular liking (as close to blue as possible) .. impromtu birthday desert provided by the chef (didn't notify them of occasion in advance) .. classy decor and fire kept us warm and toasty
