Moxhe is a Modern Australian restaurant with a focus on Fresh Seafood. It was started up by partners Helen Diab and David Coumont, and the name comes from David's home village in Belgium. "We love Australian Seafood. The concept of our restaurant is to br
We attended at Moxhe, without a reservation; on a Friday evening. The cheerful staff member accommodated us with a great table. The food was more than delicious. We started with an amuse bouche and then by sharing three different flavours of Sydney rock oysters, then mussels smoked on a bed of lucerne, then squid in a ink jus, with freekah and cucumber, and prawn tortellini. For main we shared sea bream, with pipis, cockles or vongole (depending on where you hail from) and green vegetables. Topped off with banana gelato and chocolate entremet for the dessert lovers. The menu is based around whatever chef has bought at the dayâs market. Not a cheap restaurant but very worthwhile for delicious fresh, carefully considered food. We recommend Moxhe highly,Hi Andrew! Thanks for your kind words, iâll Pass them to the team. Iâm glad you enjoyed your time with us.

the ambiance of the restaurant was causal and relaxing (some might consider it a bit noisy).a small but interesting menu was served, alongside with a tasting menu which captures much of the signature dishes.the wine menu was rather fun and exceptional, an extraordinary selection.overall good value for the food and experience.

Hands down the best meal I had in Sydney when I visited last week.I ordered for starters: Kingfish tiradito with chili, sweet potato & citrus. It was fresh and delicious, although it was a little too much lime for me but still lovely. For entrée I had Duck confit with lentils & pumpkin salad. I was concerned of overeating (and wanting to have a dessert), and Head chef Chris made sure that I had the best time by customizing it with a yummy pumpkin salad. The duck itself was tender and full of flavour. Finally for dessert I had Tim Tam âno bakeâ Cheesecake. It had the appearance of a Tiramisu but taste of a cheesecake. And you can never get it wrong with Tim Tams. This was a sweet end to a brilliant 3 course meal.Hi 653anthonyo, firstly thank you so much for taking the time to review us and we are so pleased you had such a great experience dining with us. We agree that Tim Tams are always a great idea - it's an amazing dessert experience. We hope to see you and your friends back at Jack and Knife very soon!

Inspired by adventure, we cook sustainable seafood over charcoal in a Mibrasa oven.
We arrived late after a beautiful day welcoming our newest grandchild. We were very hungry and really loved the menu choice, the quick service and the delicious food. Our lovely Canadian waitress was delightful. We throughly enjoyed our experience as did many others around us judging by their happy faces and empty plates. We would recommend it. Thanks

Superficially good but just misses. Good lunch venue, could be either a cafe or wine bar, food artistically presented but just missed. The jerusalam artichoke appealed as a small dish but the taste lacked any taste or flavour. The restaurant is closing partly because of the nearby light rail chaos but I'm not sure it was worthy of a repeat visit.

Wow.. Let me pick my jaw up off the floor! Impeccably, relaxed yet professional service. Generous servings of A class comfort food with exactly the right balance. Wines perfectly suggested as per the menu (which changes fortnightly). Outstanding meal in every way. Congrats team

Beware of overrated this restaurant, nothing wow ,food was tasteless lack of flavour no seasoning, nice decor but where it's end .Wow, it appears we have really disappointed you to be described âoverrated and worthlessâ and rated 1 star due to the seasoning not being to your liking. We would love the opportunity to speak with you to understand what could have happened to make you so passionately negative aside from the amount of salt and pepper used. This is the last thing we want our valued guests to feel after experiencing Platform 818. I will appreciate it if you can contact me at [email protected] at your convenience to discuss as we cannot come close to matching your user name to any bookings we have had recently.Akshay

Brought 2 friends here based on reviews. Absolutely spot on reviews - the food, the service and the staff were great. Service was brilliant, friendly, available but unobtrusive.Three middle-aged women enjoyed a lunch of roast cauliflower salad, a leo bagel and a shakshuka with a fresh juice. The vegetarian of our trio was particularly impressed she had a number of menu options, and not just the usual nod to vegetarianism. We left happy but extremely full due to the generous servings. I love it when you visit a place with great reviews to find they are true!

World class food prepared by properly trained European chefs and served by friendly, knowledgeable waitstaff.Fully stocked bar, excellent wine list and terrific Allpress coffee.
This is my new Coogee hot spot. Named X74 after the express bus which pulls up just out front regularly, itâs quite the hidden gem. Their menu is so diverse, their ingredients fresh and seasonal, their staff always hilarious and friendly. Itâs no wonder the locals love it. Try the pork belly!!!!! You wonât regret it.
