Lots of books and nice country cafe with simple menu, normal bread and great menu option and plenty of Gluten Free options. Would recommend a visit if you are in Goulburn.

Very disappointed with meal at this restaurant - some of the items belonged on the local take away cafe. The menu sounded delicious but fell way short. Started off well with prawns that were lovely. Main, chose sirloin with potato Rosti served with bernaise sauce and jus. The stafff asked how we would like steak cooked and requested medium rare only to be told after ordering and order sent to kitchen that all steak would be done medium. If only. The steak came out and was cooked anywhere between medium rare to well done (and not to order- remember. All steak was going to be medium). The steak was bland and had no flavour at all as well as being very tough. The Rosti were McCainâs potato gems. POTATO GEMS!! Five of them placed very prettily around the plate, but a far cry from rostis. Desert was panna cotta with macerated strawberries. They were not macerated as far as I could taste/tell. Just cut up up and placed on top with syrup. The presentation of all meals varied and the size of meals slso varied plate to plate. Very very disappointing.

Popped into Harvest for a couple of takeaway coffees on a Saturday morning recently when visiting Goulburn. A girl behind the counter took our order and money promptly, then we waited and waited... The place wasn't particularly busy and the three of us stood back from the counter waiting for our order. Eventually we sat down at a nearby table and wondered if our order was actually forgotten as no one was even at the coffee machine making coffee for anyone. Just before we were going to go back to the counter and enquire about our coffee, a woman who was standing and chatting happily all this time with a table of presumably local patrons decided to wander back behind the counter and prepare our coffee order.Obviously, catching up on the local gossip was a higher priority than making our takeaway coffees. Pretty average service and after the long wait it was unfortunately pretty average coffee as well...

The Astor provides a comfortable air conditioned public bar and lounge bar environment featuring clean, modern decor and a relaxed atmosphere. A 40 room motel is also attached to the hotel providing clean, comfortable, fully self-contained accommodation a
You get what you pay for... but this was not to bad. A little noisy because of the pub, but good position. Walking distance to all the shops. Good food at the pub. Comfy beds, big tv and a kettle, toaster and fridge. Tiny bathroom though. Good little motel for an overnight stay while we were passing through. Thank you for your feedback, we appreciate your comments and feedback, they have been passed onto our staff and managers, cheers.

Love a meal at GWC when traveling through with family. The staff - both bar and bistro are friendly, the decor is lovely with a huge selection of meals for everyoneâs liking - lamb loin chops with mint sauce and veg including mash spuds are rippers.Good for a bit of entertainment too - you win some you lose some....but have fun!!!!

The Greengrocer is both a cafe and a bike shop. We offer a range of menu items such as chicken, steak, quiche, salad, barramundi and produce. It is a very popular local spot.
I needed a simple, quick breakfast before a business meeting and this fitted the bill perfectly. I enjoy bacon and eggs but the enormous servings most places serve is just too much. How nice to find a place that had half serves! The half bacon and eggs I had was just a single egg on toasted bread and a generous serve of a couple of rashers of bacon. Just right! The coffee was good too!(And I had a mooch round the bikes on display too!

We had a large group of people and booked out the restaurant. Service was good & the atmosphere cosy and welcoming. Dinner was very nice though not inclusive of vegetables. I would say this is a mid range restaurant for cost but probably one of Goulburnâs better choices.

Had dinner here last Thursday with the family.Good value, especially on Thursdays as the kids eat free off the kids menu.Food was very good quality with decent serving sizes and a good range of beers available from the bar - the staff very friendly also.Look to have had a recent upgrade as well.Well worth a visit if you're passing through Goulburn.
