We were looking for a very good hamburger and chips and this place delivered. Very fast unfriendly service. We ate our meal down by Werri Beach where there is a beautiful view. The hamburger with beetroot and chips tasted great. Best takeaway burger and chips I have had in ages. I will definitely come back but hope for a smile and friendly service next time.

Do you know what's better than fantastic service, awesome coffee and great food?? Consistently fantastic service, awesome coffee and great food! This place is a tiny little slice of home. You are always made to feel welcome and well looked after. It is a tribute to it that it's always busy (even in the early hours) and a place that all us locals keep going back to! Ps Best GRANOLA ever.

We were a family of 7 that booked a table for dinner. We had high expectations especially when looking at the menu and prices. We started with arancini balls and calamari which albeit very small was quite nice. When ordering the mains there wasnât a great Deal to choose from and we were told that the pasta would only come out as penne and that they didnât have the risotto. We ordered a chilli prawn pasta, pork and meatballs. The kids got nuggets and chips and to say that they choose the best meal was an understatement. The pork was outstanding however the prawns over cooked and tough and the meatballs no flavour. The desert however was amazing. We had a combination of apple pie with macademia ice cream, raspberry sorbet, brûlée and chocolate fudge. Overall would I recommend this restaurant to dine in - for the price not really, which is disappointing as itâs a lovely restaurant but just needs to update their menu.

Bistro out of Cronin's Gerringong Hotel, serving classic pub fare and some fancier dishes. Family friendly dining atmosphere with large outdoor beer garden, TAB, gaming room and bar.
Looking for somewhere to eat out where we could have our dogs with us was proving difficult in the Gerroa/Gerringong area. That was until we found Jacks Grill in Gerringong. It's not in the main street but well worth looking for, especially if you have small children or are travelling with dogs. There was no hesitation from staff when we asked if our dogs could sit with us in their beer garden. The menu was fairly standard pub fare with five or six "fancy" items (as stated in their menu). Hubby had the fillet steak and I chose the Jamaican Jerked Chicken. Meals arrived in good time and were delicious. We are in town for a few more days and have no hesitation in saying we will return for another meal before we head off. Highly recommend this as a family friendly venue.

OAK ROOM ELEVEN, Dining & Wine Bar; where the farm meets the plate. Oak Room Eleven serves to celebrate its extraordinary surroundings by offering an inspiring menu showcasing a magnificent production of fresh local season produce. A spectacular setting w
Until I was planning my birthday I didn't even know that this place existed, high on a hill overlooking a beautiful valley, the ocean in the distance, and (most unfortunately) a motorway next door - but that isn't their fault and once seated in the restaurant, you can barely see it and you certainly can't hear it!We were a party of 8 initially seated at a long table by the window, until the more senior of the wait staff came by and offered us the round table in the corner with 2 picture windows! Just wonderful with all that warm autumn sunshine streaming in!I wish I had learned the young woman's name who was the more senior wait person. She was wonderful and on the ball, and should be commended! She had a couple of "green" waiters, who were clearly nervous or new or both; she had a fairly busy Sunday lunchtime and she still managed to stay on top of nearly everything going on, and did it all with a smile. It is only because of the new wait staff that I gave a "3" rating for Service - if those newbies develop to the same standard as the young woman, the service will match the food. However, one of the wait staff took my friend's plate just as he took his last mouthful and then the waiter visibly hovered at my left shoulder while I lingered over my dessert. As soon as that spoon went down, the plate was gone! I was waiting for him to start tapping his foot with impatience! And trying to catch their attention, even waving, went unnoticed as they scanned the room but didn't see. I only had to look in the direction of the waitress and she was on her way over to the table. But, let's talk about the beautiful food! Many of us had the three course menu and we weren't disappointed! The quality of food here and its presentation are excellent. Whether it was scallops, the pork belly or the duck for entrée, the beautiful lamb rack or beef for main or ANY of those marvellous desserts, we all thoroughly enjoyed the flavours, the detail, the presentation. It was one of the most enjoyable meals I've had in ages. Modern, and for me, some new flavours blending with old favourites. Worth every penny and certainly worth a return visit!

Bar and Kitchen offering modern Australian cuisine, extensive alcohol list with a relaxed atmosphere and sweeping views of Werri Beach.
We enjoyed our lunch so much that we were back for dinner. We had calamari and the baked peach salad with smoked salmon for lunch. Monday night is Mexican night and the prawn creviche and the $10 margaritas were the stand outs. Friendly staff.

We went here on à recommendation from a friend and it didnât disappoint. Great food. Smoked beetroot was a real treat. Very generous serves , and great prices. And the staff were super friendly. Went there for dinner so not much of a view but drove past the next day to check it out - will definitely have to come back for lunch one day.

Rocked in early as the only customers, got a nice window seat and very friendly service. My wife is vegan, so pleasing to see they had a good vegan veggie stack menu option. Coffee and 'real tea' was great and meals were excellent. Not fussy service but just enough and value was excellent. We both left needing a good walk to aid digestion!!
