Things to do in Cooma
We stopped in for breakfast on the way through Cooma. I had feta and avo toast with an apple juice and my partner had egg, tomato and mushroom toast with a cappuccino. All the food was delish and portions were a great size. One of the best avo toasts I have had!

Nice spot to have a morning tea with a few friends, or even lunch, not many tourists know of it's existence so look out when they do it is only small but worth a try.

Travelling through from the coast to Googong we stopped here for lunch. Being a rather chilly day we opted for soup and enjoyed a very tasty homemade pumpkin soup nicely presented with sourdough bread slices. A very pleasant atmosphere and a lovely view of the park added to the pleasant break.

Coffey's Hotel is a family friendly pub with TAB and Keno facilities, a Bistro open Wednesday to Sunday and Beer Garden.
This must be an old photograph of Coffey's Hotel. Now you would drive past it without a second glance. But...We arrived at 8pm on a Sunday night. The owner was at the door, smiling, and bid us welcome. The entrance to the restaurant was locked but quickly opened for us and we were shown to the dining room which was empty, although they do get busy on other nights. The service was great. The menu is Chinese food with an ample choice of dishes. The food was fresh cooked and well presented although could have been spicier. Even the Singapore noodles needed a splash of soy sauce to boost the flavour. But it was goodbye quality.Full marks to Sam, the owner's son, who dealt with patience and good humour with our specific needs.Thank you for such a lovely review! We hope to see you again soon.

It was great to be welcomed again by Trish and Becky and to choose from the caféâs new menu after their reopening. We loved the warming tofu scramble with lentils (photographed) and the salted caramel cheesecake. The almond latte coffee was , as usual , yummy ! Do not miss this great cafe in Cooma !

We offer modern restaurant dining, casual bar menu, excellent function rooms, gaming and a drive through Cellarbrations!
Once again my wife and I went to the Cooma Hotel for an evening meal, the meal was excellent and overall the service was good. My wife had Salmon and I had a steak on a sizzling hot stone. Food portions were generous although a little expensive. The bar service was great and the lady behind the bar couldn't be more friendly and helpful. The food waitresses were also good except for a youngish female named Piper, she didn't want to be there and this was made very obvious with her poor customer service. Maybe management needs to have a quite talk to her and pull her into line as I believe her customer service skills could be improved.

We had a surprisingly delicious dinner at this hotel. We shared the seafood chowder special and the duck with quinoa and pomegranate and the Rump with the most amazing chips, veg and mushroom sauce. We had lovely waiters and the restaurant was very busy for Good Friday. We will definitely be back to this family friendly, delightful pub. Thank you..

Im still dreaming about the chicken pie I ate at The Lott - that was made from scratch on the premises. Delicious. So good. Who makes their own pies from scratch these days! (Answer: Only the best places like the Lott). We had great coffee here too, and a chicken avo toastie to die for. This is - by far - the best place in Cooma. Don't miss it. Just wish it was down the road in Sydney and my local.Hi Mark, Cheers for your great review! Yeah, people love the pies...I don't think we can ever take them off the menu. We love hearing feedback like this, thanks for taking the time. See you next time, pies will be on :).

We had crumbed lamb cutlets for lunch. One with salad and one with vegetables and mash. They were both superb. The vegetables were fresh - not frozen and cooked to perfection. Carrots, beans, broccoli and corn all tasting like vegetables straight from the garden. Salad was the same, fresh and good quality produce used. Cutlets crisp, tender and juicy. Excellent service by young man serving

WARNING TO ALL COELIAC PERSONS. do not eat here. My wife bought a gluten free pizza last night and became violently I'll requiring ambulance. This is the first time we she's ever been glutened and this is outrageous especially when this pizza store prides itself stating they are coeiliac endorsed. She feels so sick today and exhausted from vomiting all night and suffering diarreah. Thanks for ruining our night last night and today.
