Find out what Australian restaurants to try in Byron Bay. Byron Bay's beaches are dotted with lighthouses and surrounded by bottlenose dolphins, rays, whales and sea turtles. This former New South Wales whaling station turned tourist town is still strongly influenced by its recent bohemian past, when hippie lifestyles flourished. Bongos and didgeridoos sound in parks, sarongs and dreadlocks are common, and vegetarian restaurants abound. Give in to the casual vibe and stroll between beaches and bars for a low-key and happy day.

Cool spot, good range of craft brews. Friendly staff & plenty of space for big groups to spread out; Cool vibes to boot. Be aware though it's cash only before you go, bit odd.

Firstly getting a good coffee at 4pm is so difficult for some reason... not at Fresh Byron...Great coffee, great gluten free dessert.. stayed for dinner and it was great...The next day again... same situation ..So visited for coffee and 2 fish tacos.. good quality meals, greasy and great vibe..Staff are wonderful and each afternoon/evening there was a different musician singing - not over bearing or too loud so it was perfect..Both very talented may I say...Good job guys and thanks for being open for coffee at 4pm!!

Welcome to the Green Room. Everything you know and love about Byron Bay, DISTILLED. The Green Room serves up the best local bites, booze and beats 3pm til late daily. Think sunshine and views of the Pacific Ocean with cocktails and antipasti, but not as y
Opposite the beach the Green Room is a reasonably new addition to the the Beach Hotel. The cold cuts charcuterie board with pickled vegetables was amazingly delicious especially when served with hot fresh damper. The cured meats are sourced locally which is a bonus to me. $12 cocktail hour runs from 4-6pm and offers a reasonable selection. The mulled wine was especially yummmmm. Staff are friendly and professional. For what they serve their pricing is amazing. Good luck to you all. We enjoyed ourselves very much.Hi Jinny, thanks for your review. We are pleased to hear you had a pleasant time at the Green Room and that our products and service were up to standard. Our charcuterie board and mulled wine have certainly been a hit along with our fireplace during the colder months! We hope to see you back again soon!

Dined here for breakfast with a group of 9. So many good things on the menu. Very hard to decide what to order. The food is excellent & the staff are friendly & helpful. The poached eggs on sourdough with a side of bacon were cooked to perfection. For those that like something sweeter then order the Banana loaf with cinnamon ricotta & fresh berries. This place is always super busy and has a relaxed casual vibe. I highly recommend eating here while in Byron.

We came here for breakfast on our holiday and they had amazing service, coffee and food. Best made hollandaise I have ever tasted. The eggs Benedict and the bacon and egg roll were both great. We loved this place so much we came back for a second time. Thanks for a great breakfast.

Modern Australian restaurant in the heart of Byron Bay. Located in the Mercato centre under the Palace Cinema on Jonson street.
From my first contact via phone with the owner, I was extremely impressed with the service. I was booking for a special intimate celebration for 5 people and they were more than happy to accommodate. The special night finally came and WOW! The service and ambience was amazing. The food was spectacular! Each person from our party thought it was possibly the best food we had eaten. We were so glad we had chosen this restuarant to celebrate our day!!! Highly recommend you try this place!!!We chose this restaurant from its reviews on tripAdisor and it exceeded our expectations!Dear RachelKate2019.Thank you for the your beautiful review. It was a pleasure to have you at White Wolf.We look forward to welcoming you back soon.Kind regards, White Wolf Management

My family and I went here on a Sunday evening at 6:30pm and were incredibly disappointed. Firstly, the decor was very nice but the place was so dimly lit that everyone had to use their phone lights to read the menu. When ordering, we asked the waitress if 5 dishes (which included just a bread) would be enough to feed 3 of us and she said it would be plenty. We were then told that they had run out of halloumi, and it was only 6:30! Then the food came out- firstly, there was only 2 pieces of bread, the waitress should have told us this and suggested we get another place. All the food was ridiculously small, not even enough to serve one person let alone three. And everything was lukewarm! We would never go here again.
