All day eatery, cafe + bar in buzzing Mentone.
The many weighing machines makes for an interesting decor, as does the very impressive bar area. I was brought a menu and bottle of water to get me started. The lunch menu offered some interesting choices (including vegan) and I selected the "Trio of Dips". They were a good selection with toasted bread and salad. The coffee I chose was a good choice, too. It was full flavoured. I did have to ask for a fork as the salad was too hard to eat with just a knife. The staff were good and paid good attention to the guests. I dined inside, but there was also an area ouytside, under cover.

Lovely cafe with a cozy atmosphere! The menu offers a big selection of lunch and breakfast items. Service is always quick and friendly, food freshly made and delicious. They've got a huge coffee range too! Make sure to try their Chai Latte! Highly Recommend!

This place is a great cafe, has awesome coffee and lots of seating and space. This place was on the way through whilst I was visiting a few places across Melbourne and was recommended to me. If youâre in the area this is def the best choice. Quick service too.

What began as a small motorcycle shop Melbourne way back in 1988 soon turned out to be a motorcycle dealership and a warehouse filled with over 250 motorcycles on display and for sale. Not long ago, Antique Motorcycles expanded to include Naked Racer Bar
First tine here and I very impressed. Food delicious and well priced. Coffee excellent Procesco a rather good drop. Staff attentive. The surroundings were amazing certainly will be having a return visit.

BEAU Kitchen and Cellar is a boutique wine bar that happens to be open for breakfast. We have a woodfired oven, Bertha, on which we cook our steaks, seafood, chicken and vegetables. We try to source local produce and are always seasonal. Our menu is a mod
Had breakfast with family on Sunday. My father in law doesn't like sourdough bread and asked for normal bread to have with his breakfast. The waitress went to the kitchen and came back with sourdough toast to show him. He ended up not having it. However my husband ordered the egg and bacon roll and got a white round bread roll with his. So when I said to the waitress later that this bread roll would have been fine for my father in law, she said "oh but he wanted toast and that is not toast". Maybe the staff need to learn how to think outside the square & use initiative. Having said this the service was lovely and food was nice.

Heard great things, loved the idea of a good seafood place with a thought of also having good dessert to finish......soufflé......so excited! Venue was great, small but quirky. Saturday night dinner really looking forward to catching up with friends for good night. Sever came and gave us menu, took drink orders.......server came back after 15mns to talk about specials......saw the dessert specials on menu board at top of stairs.....soufflé of the day.....yum......beers came....beers almost finished....cocktail and a lemon lime and bitters never arrived, caught servers attention.....reminded her of missing cocktail and lemon lime and bitters, she went away came back and told us that particular cocktail not available as they had run out of lemoncello, ok......looked at menu ordered different cocktail......ordered entrees and mains .......bottle of wine ordered........10mns wine arrived.....10mns entrees arrived.......asked for cocktail and lemon lime and bitters different server.......ate entrees........very good by the way......finally cocktail and lemon lime and bitters arrived..... tasted like normal lemon lime and bitters nothing special...hmmm...seems person at bar was too busy I guess it must be hard to make ....how much lemon, lime or bitters? Mains arrived we ordered seafood platter, male server fantastic explanation of platter once again very nice and would recommend.....time for dessert.....asked for menu.....10 mns to study the menu but we were set on that soufflé on the todayâs special board..... 10mns caught the servers attention, ordered three souffles......sorry we have no soufflé.....but itâs on your specials board, why didnât you tell us it was not for consideration when you brought our dessert menu?? Was it sold out? No idea? Disappointment.....didnât dare order coffee as it was from the bar....was concerned she may have been too busy to make coffee! Recommend the food very nice......service, thatâs a different story all down to one server and a very busy bar tender .....is waiting an hour for a cocktails and a soft drink reasonable? I donât think so.........why was soufflé still on the todayâs special board??

I have visited on numerous occasions prior and the food has been very good and the service to match.Smallest portion of Barra Iâve ever seen at a restaurant at $36 and totally out of proportion to the capponata served with it.I asked for my steak to be served rare with the jus served on the side... it was poured over the top.I was offered for my steak to be re-plated but the jus had already infused into the steak so my meal was totally ruined! This was a rare family dinner with our elderly parent. We asked if they could offer a small amount of ice-cream for Dad and the manager said he could have a child's dessert! This comment was insensitive and degrading!Upsetting for his daughters. We will not be back!

We went yesterday to chain of fools, a large array of traditional Indian cuisines with a twist. The food took awhile to arrive, however it was very nice once received. Unfortunately you canât see the beach well at all however just the trees are blocking so still a very nice location.

We visited Tommy Ruff yesterday for a late lunch. Such a great range on the menu, with meal options to choose chips, rice or salad or the whole mix. Friendly service as soon as you enter until you get your final goodbye/have a good day as you leave. We had the mussels, and a salmon meal and it was delicious. They cooked my salmon well done - so I was pretty happy. Couldnât fault a thing!Highly recommend and canât wait to return sometime soon.

This has to be Melbourne's best Sunday lunch venue. Absolutely superb sea-food, service and atmosphere. The staff are so welcoming with attention to match. Food is to die for! Value for money unbeatable. We were looked after by Jordan who excelled with the right advice on food to order and friendly service. We went as a group of 6 for the 2nd lunch sitting and were the last to leave because we did not want to go! I highly recommend this venue. I'll be back very soon.Wow, Thanks Mel for that wonderful review, we are glad we are still providing not only great service but food after nearly 33 years in the business. I will pass on your feedback to Jordan on your behalf. LC
